Red Bamboo reviews
21Food isn't bad but was expecting more authentic Asian cuisine. Flavors are more catered to the American palette (sweet/salty). If you're having a junk food craving though, this is a good choice. Now that I'm looking at the photos on Google, I see most people get nuggets, fries, and other fried items.
Great tasting food. It even looks close to the real thing. Buffalo chicken wings is a must. It's a cozy area with great customer service, I would definitely come back here again.
ALL THE PEOPLE IN NYC HAVE TO KNOW THAT THIS IS THE BEST VEGAN RESTAURANT EVER! It´s marvelous! The food is so tasty. The portions are big and with a lots of flavors and delicious sauces. Definitely I recommend this restaurant 100%!
A little pricey but in comparison to the prices of similar restaurants in NY it's not bad. Pretty good selection and tasty! This kind of food can end up a little soggy if delivered so eat in if you can.
I wish with all my heart that they open this restaurant in Seattle! Hooray for vegan food and the service was over the top. I can't wait to get back to New York and bring my family and friends along. I ordered the pineapple rice seafood and beer, which was so smooth and tasty. The ambience was one of my favorite things, it is a bit small but it worked out perfectly.
If you are a transitioning vegan or a vegan who need inspiration come here! This food is invigorating
Their chicken parm tastes just like regular chicken! It's satisfying, it's filling, and I'm definitely coming back again!
Delicious! Try and bbq buffalo wings and the chicken cutlet or chicken soul sandwich. It’s so good! Also try their vegan desserts, the Oreo cheesecake and the chocolate cake were to die for!
The steak and potatoes and ginger beef are both extremely good! This food is a must have and I can’t wait to go back. Also they require proof of vaccination which made me feel safe
Very less vegan restaurants have vegan food which is this this flavorful! Plus the service is fast. One of the best in NYC!
I've been coming here for as long as u can remember. The food is always satisfying. And the portions are great.
First time having Vegan food. And I gotta say, it was pretty good. Made my date night exceptionally great. 10/10 would go again.
My personal favorite vegan restaurant, cozy dimly lit atmosphere and great all-around menu for beginners of vegan fare as well as those with an advanced palette. Deserts are plentiful as are non/alcoholic beverages that are also vegan, service is quick and friendly. I personally love getting the burgers and sandwiches as well as the “chicken parm” dish with a vegan beer and some cake for desert. Parking around the area may be a bit tight but nothing too extraordinary.
The pineapple seafood fried rice and the curry chicken were definitely a highlight! To pair with the dish, the lemon pineapple ginger drink. Will definitely come back and visit again.
Had dinner at The Red Bamboo last night. The spring rolls with zucchini and tofu were well made and had a delicious sweet sauce to compliment it. The Thai beef curry was amazing but I am still trying to figure out what gave it a sweet spicy taste! I wanted to drink the sauce! The Vegan Eggplant Parmigiana was crispy and light. The sauce was so good. The staff was friendly and efficient. Cool place
I am not Vegan but this place could truly make me convert. Food was AMAZING and it is a great little place to eat. Recommend for anyone who likes Asian food. A must go!
The Popcorn Chicken was alright. The French fries were hot and some were great others were soggy. The last photo you see is the Bamburger. This was a soggy mess. There was so much much mayo that the burger began to fall apart after two bites. I think the burger would be better without all those soggy toppings. I was really disappointed with this order. I hope other menu items are better than my order. Unfortunately, I wouldn't order from here again.
Very disappointed on my favorite restaurant giving the employees information on their covid vaccine. That is a HIPAA law violation. That is private information and as such they shouldn’t even have to share that with you. Hope you can take a good look at the US federal and state law as well as HIPAA. We all know the risks by now and we decide whether we want to take that chance or not. As per the CDC people who are vaccinated are safe and who ever is not vaccinated is because they have decided not to be. It’s a personal choice. I truly and sincerely hope you can understand that no business can go above the law. Read and take this to consideration. I can’t support a business that is violating human rights especially a vegan restaurant.
I went there today for the first time. Loved the food service is super fast And prices are and Ng. My friend and I only spent about $40 together on two dishes. Also everyone is really nice.
