Red Roof Inn Buffalo – Hamburg/ I-90

Rooms don't have carpet. I ended up placing the bathmat next to the bed to wipe my feet before getting in bed. The linoleum was clean but felt sticky when you walked on it. The entire room was well kept; sheets were clean, only 3 pillows on a king, so if you both use 2, you'll need to ask for an extra, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths, so if you need 1 for hair and 1 for your body and you're not alone, you'll need to ask for another, 1 small soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, and 1 body lotion, they also leave a small purse sized tissue. The room also had a fridge, freezer, microwave stack that was very handy! The freezer was badly in need of a defrost but worked really well, as did the fridge, the microwave is growing old and wasn't cooking to the specifications on food boxes.

The staff was kind and helpful! It appeared to be a husband and wife team doing the cleaning, and they left our room for the 2nd night exactly as I had asked.

Our room was handicap accessible and the shower, shower seat and water flow were great!

*** We stayed on the highway side of the building. If you are a light sleeper I would probably ask for the other side, hoping it doesn't echo on that side.

Well, our hotel experience was not good at all. My Family and I were there on an temporarily in which the bed was unmade bed. I was itching from unclean sheets on the bed. The water pressure was not that good even I took an shower that I needed. The remote was missing its backing. Another concern of safety.there was tape on the door that would not lock properly.

At this location, the Red Roof +, felt like a dive motel. No breakfast, doors with no weight to them, and (quite opposite of the company's motto) a filthy, stinky room. It was worse than the last Red Roof + we stayed at. The one major positive is that the staff is very polite and accommodating, very quick to put me at ease when I requested an extra hour before checking out.

This hotel is pathetic. Not only were the rooms filthy but also smelled of smoke (even though advertised as non-smoking) Drawer head broken off the drawer box and bugs and dirt inside the drawers. Ice machine broken and no hot water to speak of. For what we paid for these rooms i would never recommend staying here

Paid almost double this year for 2 weeks than last year. Was in the room for exactly 16 days not one time did house keeping come in and do anything which is cool we clean our own rooms but the one time I asked for room service they did everything except change the sheets they made the bed like they had changed them but didn't. I went to the front and told them and still never came and changed them. Hot water was off for 2 days. Not happy with my service this year and after paying almost double won't be back next year

I had a disappointing experience at the Red Roof. Unfortunately, there was no hot water available for showers during my stay, and I was informed of the broken boiler only during check-in. It was quite inconvenient, and the hotel didn't provide any compensation for this issue. Additionally, the rooms were not up to the expected cleanliness standard and had an unpleasant smell. Despite being advertised as smoke-free, the room had a lingering odor, similar to someone having smoked a cigar just before our arrival. To top it off, there were even bugs in the drawers. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Horrible service. They didn’t have hot water and they wanted to still charge us for the night even if we leave cuz they didn’t have hot water. I will never ever come back here. Very unprofessional

Typical two star hotel.
Our rooms are paid for by our host.
That said, if it’s free, it’s for me.
So, putting up with what appears to be year round motel guest, non smoking-smoked rooms is the norm, lousy working shower head, hard working, extremely friendly, underpaid employees willing to repeat themselves to be understood…. Well, be their guest.
Priced $$ accordingly!

Very ghetto. Trash cans were spilled all over the landings. Towels were not changed as I had a black footprint on mine. Bathroom smelled like mold.

Room smelled freshly cleaned. Beds were comfortable. Front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating. Coffee and Tea in the lobby were good. Highway noise was minimal with closed door.

Rooms are dirty an trash under beds. Smelled like smoke an bug spray. Nasty. Alot of people living there and are not good. Drinking an smoking pot out in the open. Not a good place. Beds start at $58.49 we where charged $190. For room with double beds. Needless to say we will NOT be staying there ever again. -5 rating in my book.

Worst hotel, No drinking water. The vending machine doesnt accept cards only $1 bills. The vending machine room lets you in with room key but you can NOT come out of it as the door doesnt open from inside. I got stuck inside the room. Had to spend my night without water.shady place.

My roof is on that side of buffalo. Good safe dog walking area, nice food, stores within a mile. Needs update, they are trying. If something is wrong or missing like towel rack, door locks, wall trim, drawer fronts, cracked sink, TV tuner battery carpartment, or dirty fridge leave them a tip and tell front desk you took pictures to not get blamed for damages. House cleaning doesn't make enough.
