Red Roof Inn Niagara Falls

If it was not for the fact we were so tired we never would have stayed here. When we walked into the hallway it smelled like marijuana. Once in our room it smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors were filthy, to the point it was sticky. The night stand had food on it. At this point i wanted to leave. Like I said we were to tired to continue to drive.
When we went to check out and get our deposit there was nobody at the front desk. We tried the phone and was told someone would be there in five minutes. After 20 minutes a women came to the desk and was extremely rude. And had us wait more for our deposit. Because she wanted someone to check our room. I would have brought these issues to the women at the front desk, but she did not seem interested in anything except going back to bed.
After several minutes she returned with our deposit and asked in a gruff manner if we had smoked in the room. At that point we got our deposit and left.
I get that this is a cheap motel and you get what you pay for. That being said you would think that the rooms would at least be clean. I definitely would not stay here.

We had to wait over 20 minutes to check in bc the front desk clerk had her child with her and had to deal with her. Our bathroom was DISGUSTING! Our blanket was stained, asked for another one and it was never brought to us after they said they would. The headboard had sticky food stuck to it. Are the rooms never cleaned? Bc it looks that way! Horrible all the way around! Will never recommend and will never stay here again!

The absolute nightmare. Dirty, stinky, spiders and bugs included. We couldn't sleep there. Stay away.

With an awful cigarette smell. The bathroom was so dirty that we did not want to use it. Bedsheet were also awful and dirty. Thankfully we only spent like 5 hours there just to sleep.

The location was close enough for a short drive to the Falls and restaurants and traditional shopping.

Priced competitively yet economical for a weekend trip.

The staff was friendly and very attentive.

The check-in process was a disaster. The receptionist seemed completely disinterested in helping me and took an eternity to find my reservation. When I requested a nearby room accessible from my car because of my 1-year-old baby, she completely denied but I saw a few couples after me getting those rooms. Gave me the farthest room 421. Once we entered the room, there was invisible mud on the floor which was getting stuck on my baby's feet since the baby used to run here and there inside the room. The very interesting thing was, the door got locked from the inside and no one was there to help. Since the room was the farthest no one could hear our cream or heavy door knock from inside. Tried calling reception for 45 min then someone picked up the phone, and after 20 min someone came to help. After another 30 min (no reception picking up the call again) person got a ladder to enter the room from the other side of the room, After another 30 min of retry he was able to open the door. So overall total waste of the evening was supposed to go to Niagara Falls and totally missed all the bookings.

Overall, this hotel was a nightmare. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. If you value your sanity, comfort, and well-being, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this dump. There are plenty of other options in the area that are infinitely better than this disaster of a hotel.
At the checkout when I wanted to talk to someone, the cleaning staff told me to drop-off the key. There is no one to attend to my concern.

I don’t think I’ll ever stay again in this place!
The whole place smelled like cigarette and the A/C too, for the sake of your kids I’d recommend not visiting this place. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet was so dirty, and the shower as well. The floor was so sticky, the cabinets, EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY!
The pool was disgusting, my family and I were happy we found a place with a pool for my kid to enjoy and we couldn’t use it because it was so dirty, I don’t think it even had a filter running. So disappointed of this place, if I could give it 0 stars I would.

I am currently staying here with my kids, as a single woman and mother I mind my business. I don’t bother anyone but for whatever reason the men staff at this hotel are aggressive and complete weirdos. Not only do they force you to talk to them but then get mad when you don’t respond the way they see fit. To top it all off I caught the main creep trying to watch what room I went into. I’m having a bit anxiety sleeping here. I can’t say anything to the other staff because they are clearly buddies. When I attempted to ask for the manager’s name the male at the desk then tried to force me to tell him what wrong, mind you I just seen him hanging with the creep that insisted on me stopping to talk to him when I clearly didn’t want to talk. I wonder if they would have done all this if I was a man? ! I’m a strong woman and I know I can be intimidating, but I stay to myself because of that. To be picked on and constantly bothered when I’m in tunnel vision is wild to me! Only cowards bully women.

When in a crisis or any matters in life a smile works. The Grinch and family were extremely rude especially Sheela the frown and sarcasm is unsettling and it's not a safe environment or experience. I left my wedding band there and she refused to get it after saying, "if you knew you left it why didn't you get it when you got your things". I was placed there for an emergency service and to be treated like a lower cast system as if I was beneath them. I'm a Empress not here to impress but Restore Lives, ReCreate Liberty and Correcting History. This is discrimination and I'll be filling a claim for the Injustice faced overnight 7/2/2023 #Room113.
The son had to clean the bathroom tub out before I could take a shower too. #Disgusting with Evil eyes on the Red roof inn Front desk. I did suggest Sheela smile, it takes more muscles to frown.

This motel was my worst nightmare and I won't rest until they're held accountable for it. Forget about the room being disgustingly filthy, my son and I have been absolutely traumatized since the moment we woke up at 3 am covered in BED BUG bites. They were inside pillows, in the mattress and on top the sheets. I have never cried so hard in my life as I did that night. My little boy had nearly 20 bites. Both guests on my left and right informed me they had suffered the same fate. This place is INFESTED and gross. Red Roof, you are a shame of a business.

I was at this location around 10pm on July 26th, hoping I will be treated the way other red roofs treat me. My daughter like the name Red roof and I respect that. When I walked in there was no one at the desk and I said Hello couple times. A lady who appeared to be awaken from taking a nap came from a back with an attitude. I asked her if they have a double bed. She said there is one and it goes for……. I asked her I am a member and if that makes a difference, explaining that I spent the previous night at Red roof. Initially she said give me your number and let me see what you can get. I said ok and started to bring up my email to show her the info. While I was doing that she said I do not need that I just want your ID. I asked her if she looked me up but she said “it is a busy season now and I do not change any thing come in September and I will do something” I was just got confused and lost because a month does not change my membership. I told her to hold one and give me a business card, because I always believe in giving feedbacks and making things right for the public. She still continued to disregard my relevant requests and said this is the Niagrafalls Redroof but did not want to give a card. I understand there are a lot of wonderful clerks at Red-roof and I will not generalize but this one was not nice or professional.

The owner, Sheela, was singularly unfriendly. She was snappy, rude and for no particular reason, took a dislike to us. The lady who checked us in the previous evening was no better. They have a nice motel there with large and fairly clean rooms. And yet, although there weren't too many people checking-in that night, they gave us a room where the bathroom sink was clogged up, there was no mini-fridge and the TV wasn't working. When we complained, we were moved to another room with a brick wall outside the window; a real good room with a view indeed! We paid for three people and yet there were only two towels in the room. They didn't even provide coffee maker in the room. I had to wait for a long time before the lady who called herself Sheela would bring out coffee in the morning at 7: 30! I really have to be careful about staying at Red Roof Inns in the future. One last thing: This place is not secured. Anyone can walk into the motel through any of the side doors. The doors are all wide open.

Not terrible, not great. Good for a one night stay to sleep. Rooms could use a lot of work, and a thorough cleaning. Our room only had the quick wipe down and clean linens, lots of areas clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Kinda good but felt like prison loved the pool and coffee the door only locked outside not inside so️️

We have got multiple rooms here. You will see Zombis on front desk, freaking rude, no smile. Room windows are crazy dirty while fridges of both rooms were taking beyond below average time. Microwave were set apart n dirty. Dial front desk from your room and no one will ever pick, promise. Think twice before booking here.
