The rooms are nice but it smells kinda and it’s really sketchy like horror, movies sketchy but it’s cheap so hey

Looks and smells like illicit and dangerous activities occur there non-stop. Extremely dirty, smelly, and GROSS hotel! Asked for a refund immediately after checking into our room. Got out of there as FAST as possible. Thought it would be nicer, since we were charged nearly $300 for one room!

There Was an issue during booking where I needed a non-smoking room but system still showed smoking, talked to front end attendant when I got there said no big deal we can just switch it. Instead charged me twice and haven’t issued me a refund still.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!

We booked this hotel through Aeroplan a month in advance. When we arrived at 7: 30pm we were told they didn't have a room for us and that we should call the points company to get a refund. The desk staff were extremely unprofessional, wearing blue jeans and hoodies, with a faint vape cloud lingering when we entered. Fly tape was hanging behind the desk and on the outside one of the rooms was boarded up and it appeared a vehicle had driven through the wall and it had only been fixed with plywood.

We were thankful a room wasn't available and found other accommodations for our family.

Room with bad smell and dirty hallways, dirty shower curtain, air conditioning with mold and a bad smell when you turn it on, the attitude in the check-in area at the entrance, very bad attitude and making comments that we were not registered and had a bad attitude.attitude towards us and he didn't know Spanish and he complained when we showed him a photo in Spanish of the reservation confirmation. I honestly won't ever come back.

This location is in worse condition than the rundown hourly-rented crack hotels. It's infested with roaches, bloodstains on the walls, bathroom doors, and even dog poop in the entrances and hallways. We requested a refund politely, providing photos and videos of the bugs and other issues. Initially, they agreed to refund us upon returning the keys and packing our things, but then they changed their minds. When we asked to speak to a manager, we only got the name "Jay" with no contact information. Our request to escalate the issue to corporate management was also fruitless. When we mentioned reporting them to the health department and leaving a negative rating, they responded rudely, claiming to pay people for five-star ratings. In summary, this place is filthy; consider another option for a clean room.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn for a week while my lease was being made. It was a wonderful experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. I enjoyed the free coffee every morning, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful in touring the place around. The hotel also offered some discounts and tips for international students. I would definitely recommend the Red Roof Inn to anyone looking for a first class and immediate accommodation at an affordable price.

This is a clean, basic hotel with no extras. The man at the front desk had no people skills, but he wasn't rude. They came to "clean" the room- new soap and shampoo bottles appeared; yet no clean towels were left. Don't expect clean towels, extra toilet paper, a box of tissues, or even coffee for the personal coffeemaker that is in the room.
It could be so much better. But it could also be so much worse!

For somewhere to sleep, it's suitable. Cable channels did not work, wasn't given a Wi-Fi password and the phone in the room was just there for show. Sheets had stains and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Not much entertainment so bring your own or don't plan to spend much time there.

BEWARE MONEY SCAM
new info since first review.
This hotel will charge 2 deposits, one through third-party and one at the counter. They return one deposit and I had to call at least 15x to get the other. How many people do u think either give up or don't notice in first place. I recommend paying close attention to all charges at Red Roof Inn airport, Rochester ny

I Stayed 2 nights, the second day my key fir door didn't work. It took me an hour to find an employee, front desk empty was empty cuz apparently the same person cleans the room. So I'm already upset and I get to room, the 100 dollar bill I had was not there. I sent my bf down to say something, I would have yelled. He came back and said, they said it's here.after searching, we found it across the room, under a plastic grocery bag. I was relieved but also annoyed that they touched it at all. Here's the best part, room phone rang and when I picked up, it was an employee screaming at me about how they would never steal.he had me in tears and I finally just hung up. I never spoke to a single employee, accusing of anything and if I had, he still had no right speaking that way.they shouldn't have touch or moved my money. Worst hotel ever, and still waiting on my deposit that we got charged twice as well

What a dirty place it is! I was too tired to find another hotel. The room wasn't clean at all: The bed sheet wasnt changed; I slept on top of the bed cover. Bad Customer Service/ Bad Business: It doesn't consider customers' right to stay CLEAN and comfy. Never go back. Period.

The employee gave us an extra room that took 1 hour for them to take back and also they gave us a room that was already booked and some of the stuff in the room was broken and it smelled horrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Was disgusting. First, the woman at the desk gave me the key card to the wrong room. Thankfully I realized someone's belongings were all in there! Then, she gives me the key card to the room I was supposed to have
The room was bad, was outdated and filthy in multiple areas. Then, without even being here 24 hours, the girl kept beating at the door telling us we had to leave or pay, when we told her multiple times our money was going into our account today. She tried making up excuses and had an attitude and said we could just leave. Never had this problem at any other motel or hotel. I would highly suggest not staying here. I'd rather stay on the street, to be honest.

Use this hotel for what it is, a room for the night. The room we was in was very damaged and worn, cigarette burns on the sheets, for some reason the wash cloths was wet. Compared to other hotels around the airport it was cheap, so if you need a hotel and your primary concern is cost, its OK. If you can spend a little more money maybe use another hotel in the area.

We were originally booked here, but cancelled our reservation when we went to check in. It was a hike from the airport. The lobby was filthy and smelled like mold and Marijuana. The receptionist was very defensive, clearly accustomed to unhappy guests. I would not be suprised if this place was just a cover for some other shady operation. We did not feel safe or welcome.

The check-in person was courteous and nice. Room 129 has a busted room door lock. I reported it to the front desk and I took photos to put them on notice that if someone comes into my room while I'm out Redroof is liable for stolen or damaged property. The door is partially secured and with enough pressure someone can enter. The toilet is old and doesn't flush properly.

My mom and I stayed for one night, went into our room and the beds looked like they haven’t been changed of new sheets, noticed a stain on one of the pillow cases, the curtain looked terrible and full of small holes, lamps were full of dust above our heads, window didn’t close also had no screen, the ac was filthy and disgusting we saw one review that said there was black mold found so we didn’t take our chances. Barely any towels, hard water stains in tub, not to mention the disgusting microwave and fridge. I think the housekeeping staff needs to be retrained on proper cleaning skills so nobody gets sick.
