Regal UA Hampton Bays reviews
15Tickets for knock at the cabin were about $36 dollars in total for me and my uncle. Even the popcorn and the water that I got cost about $16 dollars. This place is such a money waster, I wish mattituck were open to show movies again and their tickets for films are much cheaper compared to here and island 16.
My wife and I went and saw the new avatar here. It was the first time going here. The place is alright.
Wanted to see the movie I heard the Bells it was listed as showing for one day and disappeared from their movies after that tried to call can't speak to a human being you have to email and wait for a reply
Like it or hate it, rather have a movie with over priced popcorn and local vibes then no damn movies at all.plus jobs
Matinee prices are only during the week according to the guy working the concession stand. Sounds like Hampton bays own rules- matinees are usually mon-sat before 4pm. Tickets are now $15.30. Water bottles $6. Theaters are smaller than I remember, as are the screens.
It's a real movie theater. The popcorn is hot fresh and buttery if you want. The staff is mature, natural, professional. Remember? The Movies?
How about new seats? Barely able to sit for 2 hours. Had to change seats 3 times to find one that was passable.
One of the last hometown theaters. Went today to the movies. I really enjoy that my town still had this theater. I hope that they stick around.
Nice little theater. Not one if those big WOW MULTIPLEX. More of the old home town feel. Good place to take the kids on a rainy day.
Before COVID, the signage for the theaters/auditoriums used to have what was playing at the entrances over the doors, they no longer do. There's limited staff on hand for the concession stand otherwise it's a skeleton crew. The theater I was in seemed like the A/C was turned on instead of the heat (it was less than 32°F outside that night) maybe it will get better as time goes on and COVID restrictions ease.
I was stoked to see Spider-man No Way Home, but this theater is junk, charging a premium price for a sub par movie experience. The theater looks like it has not been updated since the 80's. Sound quality was awful, and speakers were blown. The one bright side was the staff, they were super nice and Management did refund our tickets, but I would have like them to offer more compensation. I wasted $50 in concession snacks, that are outrageously over priced. As I stated previously it was the staff that saved what little experience I had if any. I will never come back to this place ever. Makes Regal look like a joke.
Children's movie titles should have more than 1 week showings especially when schools are closed for an extended holiday weekend. Families with young children are looking for entertainment in a town with limited activities.
The concession prices are over the top. $6 for a small soda. $9 for medium popcorn am i out of the loop or are these prices high?
Snacks are expensive. The popcorn, drink and candy combo is the best deal. A hot dog for almost $6 is crazy.
Very clean and people were nice. Bathroom was a little messy but within minutes of show it was cleaned. The walk way into the movie was not lit and slightly dangers for those who are seniors. And the popcorn was not freshly popped.
