Just such a bizarre experience.
The masseuse started talking about me right after the massage while I was still getting dressed lol, obviously not knowing I could understand every single word.
She kept telling me to relax during the massage. I was, in fact, relaxed. I assume she is not used to touching stiff muscles? And I thought people came to get massages because they needed help relaxing their muscles?
She put her cellphone right next to me on the massage table which was vibrating from time to time during the massage. And at one point she pulled the blinds open to peep outside while massaging me with the other hand…
I don’t know if it’s just my luck that I got this unprofessional and bitter lady, who was apparently also not impressed with my 18% tip judging by how her attitude changed after I paid for the service.
I really wanted to support this business, but sadly won’t consider coming back.

A spa it is not, it is, however, a decent place to get a great massage for a good price. I went in there with an intense neck and shoulder pain, could hardly move my neck when I woke up, and I did not leave the way I went in. Leo did an amazing, amazing, job from my head to my feet. The pressure was perfect and he checked in with me several times to make sure I was comfortable. I will highly recommend this place if you just want a massage without all the bells and whistles of a spa. No scented oils, no hot stone, etc, etc etc, but I will return.

Definitely one of the best places around for an above average massage in Brooklyn.

Update: they seemed to change the massage area and it’s definitely more relaxing now and the last few times I went the massages were truly amazing.

I usually go to Chinatown for the best massages and value. I happened to walk by this place and decided to take a chance. Got a masseuse with no wait whatsoever which was a plus on a Sunday.

The one hour massage with Yoyo was excellent as she really understands the body and can feel what area needs to be worked on. I usually have male masseuses bc (most) of the time they have the best pressure strength but my masseuse really impressed me with her consistent firm pressure. The critiques I’d give is the privacy of the back room area room. You share with another person and it’s not dark enough or blocked enough to really feel truly relaxed. I never quite felt truly relaxed even though it was a great massage. I would come back so I don’t have to go in the city for a good massage, seems like a dependable no frills place. Also, some sort of reward punch card with a free massage after 10 visits or a first time customer discount would be excellent.

Best massage I’ve ever had. The massage therapist was friendly and professional, and used exactly the right amount of pressure to relieve my neck and back tightness. I will definitely be coming back!

I've been in NY 6 years, this is the best best massage place ever. A lot of the places just general-rub your shoulder with oil and doesn't solve problem. But people working here finger massages where you feel tight, painful, stressed. Hellen really cured my neck after an 1h session. I'll come back again.
