Meghan O.from the Irondequoit branch is my girl. She’s helped me with half a dozen car loans, and always has a pleasant mix of charm and professionalism.

I wasn’t actually here, but i am a reliant member. I want to make it known that Meghan Oosterling called me a week ago for a courtesy call. That led to refinancing my vehicle. She always checked in, answered ALL of my questions, & was professional as could be. I have financed before with Reliant through Shawn Philbin. Meghan did this all through email, & made it as painless & fast as possible just like every time before. Reliant is the definition of professionalism, & they have always treated me exceptionally well!

As a member of United States Air Force I've been moved a lot. This prevented me from using a Reliant branch, since there are few of them overseas. When I took a look at my account, I found out that they have devastated it with "Inactive account" fees, taking what little I've had in there.

Way to support the troops, Reliant!

Robin Sheets did a wonderful job helping me with my loan application for a car. She was patient, kind and knowledgeable about the process. I’m extremely pleased and grateful I had the opportunity to work with her.

Babette, Monica & Alexandria together spell R E L I A N T! They provide very friendly, world class customer service with top notch support, quality and care, including excellent and timely follow up. They all deserve to be recognized by their management team for their outstanding performances. The Sodus facility is exceptionally clean—spotless! Thank you for surpassing our expectations. Been with Reliant since '85 when at that time it was WCTA. Nothing more than a little building in sodus not at all like the present structure and of course other branches. Hands down one of the best decisions I've made. Never any problems and great friendly service.

Reliant Credit Union was founded in 1970 by teachers to help their fellow teachers be able to do more and be more in life. It was first established as the Wayne County Teachers Association Federal Credit Union and in 1977 they opened their headquarters on Benton place in the Town of Sodus, NY. In 2007 after absorbing numerous other Credit unions in the area and opening other branches in nearby towns, the name was changed to Reliant Community Credit Union to reflect their expanded membership base, as well as the values of trust, accountability, and individual success. This location has always been a staple in the community for decades and really shows they care. The staff are always friendly and helpful and you can open multiple various bank accounts for savings, checking and even a youth savings account which I've done for my son. Become a member today and you will have a bank for life.

Love reliantcu. Easy to work with convenient locations. Plenty of options for people to look at as far as retirement and other things. Branches are clean and organized well managed.

We have been Reliant (WCTA!) credit union members since 1988, when the Canandaigua branch was downtown and Jean Fiorentino was the branch manager. You made us feel welcome when we moved to Canandaigua - we wanted a credit union instead of a bank based on our experience while I was on active duty in Ohio, and your staff made us very happy with our choice. Our three sons (now in their 30s) still remember making deposits in their "Johnny Appleseed" accounts, and how nice your staff always was. Today, the Reliant Credit Union has somehow managed to keep that same feeling. Staff members seem to be in for the long haul and every interaction is friendly and extremely professional. Your rates have always (always!) been competitive, and transactions go smoothly. Thanks for always being dependable.

Will be closing my account and moving my loan to another local bank after many years of being a long term customer. I was called by Reliant before Christmas to inform me I had a negative balance due from a Paypal charge on my checking acct (which I haven’t used my checking acct in many, many years). I let the Rep know that I didn’t charge anything to Reliant as I don’t use the checking acct. I’ve been a long term account holder that does most of my vehicle/personal/home improvement loans through this bank. Rep told me I owed $34.xx which included an over draft fee and the Paypal charge. Over Christmas I found my Paypal account was hacked due to my identity being stolen. I called Reliant to let them know the charge was fraudulent and ask the exact amount I owed so I could go to a branch and pay it. I was told I now owe $200.xx for mostly over draft fee’s! I asked that the over draft fees be waived as I had told the first Rep that I hadn’t made any charges to Reliant and the Rep said I only owed $34.xx a week and a half earlier. I also advised my identity had been stolen and as a result my paypal account had been hacked. I was told they’d have to submit a form request to branch where my account was opened approx 35 years ago and that they would email me the adjusted amount the next day! Really? This sounds like a process from 1970! Never got an email from them. In meantime I had Paypal remove my bank accounts and changed my password so no further fraudulent transactions could be made. Received a call from Rep over a week later and was told I now owe $181.xx as they could not remove all of the over draft fees as this WAS NOT RELIANT’s FAULT!? SERIOUSLY? The last time I checked, Identity theft isn’t really the fault of either party…bank or customer but most all banks today know how to take care of their customers when identity theft occurs. NOT RELIANT apparently! I know ESL, Tompkins and Canandaigua National Bank all call me when they think there is a possible fraudulent transaction and would NOT hesitate to waive fee’s in a situation concerning identity theft! After speaking with Reliant Reps 4 times advising all of them that I didn’t make any charges out of my Reliant checking account, which remember hadn’t been used in many years, I was treated as if I were the fraudulent party! What TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! ATTENTION RELIANT CUSTOMERS - Seriously consider changing banks to a bank who has UPDATED fraud and identity theft procedures in place and who is proactive for YOU THE CUSTOMER…you’re NOT going to get that OR be PROTECTED from/by Reliant!
