Update: Went to court today, and got my security deposit back in full ($971.25). Jennifer came to court lying, as always.

From the first moment of contact the management team has been very professional and swift in processing my application for one of their lovely apartments and I had the convenience of doing it all virtually. There units are very nice and the grounds are well tended.nice neighborhood.quiet. I'm giving it to the rest of this week before I start exposing the shady side of the staff at the Remington Gardens Apartments stay tuned because the encounters I had here are different from what I previously wrote.

As an astute reviewer, I can assure you that a considerable number of the appraisals of this establishment are artificial or coerced. Now, let us delve into the tumultuous issue of noisy neighbors and their incessantly barking dogs, which is undoubtedly a significant concern for anyone seeking solace in their own home. The decibels emanating from the adjoining units were unbearable, as sound traveled with ease through the paper-thin walls, floors, and ceilings. The disturbances ranged from booming music, banging noises, and loud arguments that persisted even late at night and early in the morning. Despite several complaints, no action was taken to address this intolerable situation.

Additionally, the unexpected and unwarranted removal of essential parts of our "recently renovated" kitchen cabinets and counters was an egregious violation of our rights as tenants. It was only after we arrived home from work that we discovered the missing components, without any explanation or prior notification. It became evident that the parts were removed to renovate other units in the building, which occurred about nine to ten months after our initial move-in date.

Furthermore, the management team showed a complete lack of transparency and professionalism by asking us to vacate the property a month early to facilitate early leasing. We complied with their request, cleaning the unit thoroughly and returning the keys as expected. Nevertheless, the management still charged us rent for the following month, along with several undisclosed fees, such as "moving out cleaning charges, " "general labor" charges, and many others, all to retain our security deposit.

To make matters worse, the condition of the unit was subpar when we first moved in, with dirty windows, vents, and a dusty floor. The bedroom heaters did not work during the peak winter season, and we were forced to purchase our portable heaters. The frequency of weekly visits by mice tenants was also alarming, despite our efforts to keep the place clean and airy.

As if the aforementioned grievances were not enough, the management team surreptitiously switched out our personal wifi with their business Spectrum for a lower speed, without our consent. To add insult to injury, we were also charged monthly for this service, in addition to what Spectrum was already charging us. The only commendable aspect of our stay was the maintenance team's attentiveness, although it was not enough to offset the overall negative experience.

Regrettably, this establishment's unethical practices have led to an unfavorable experience and an impending lawsuit. Anyone seeking comfort and decent living should look elsewhere and disregard any new reviews as they are unreliable. If you require accurate reviews, please consult individuals who have lived in the establishment for a year or more.

If I could leave negative stars I would. The walls are paper thin, you can hear ignorant neighbors at all times of the night fighting with each other or blaring music. There has been black mold that keeps coming back. The maintenance came once to clean it and re caulk our windows and it just grows back. I’ve asked them to fix it numerous times and have just been ignored. I’ve told them that I’m immunocompromised and that it’s affecting my health and they don’t seem to care. The upstairs neighbors have came down to my apartment and threatened me with violence at 1am because I asked them to stop being so loud. Cops have been called and yet nothing happens. The people who own and run these apartments are money greedy, charging insane rent prices for an “updated” unit that’s covered in mold and has cheap everything to make it look decent. I’ve been trying to come to an agreement with the people who run the apartments to pay a last months rent and forefeit my security deposit just to be able to move out due to health and safety issues that aren’t being taken care of and they are refusing. So this will be another lawsuit for them. Avoid this place at all costs.

I had an excellent experience as a renter and I attribute that to the great management. They were always available to assist me and I was impressed with how quickly my deposit was returned within 14 days.

Apartments are great! I love my home and maintenance is swift and excellent. Management will work with you and is helpful and patient. I’m grateful for my home here! I’ve been here a year this month and will continue to call it home.

Highly recommend!

First impressions are always important when looking for a new place to move in. Its in a fairly quiet area with little to no traffic just an occasional plane that passes by, the apartments are pretty quiet and noise is at a minimum. The overall property was well maintained and the property managers were very professional and courteous with all inquires (Fast to respond). Overall would recommend to those looking for a new place to settle down.

A foreign land but a home this apartment is for me.
The environment is but a warm and comfortable space for me as I work near this complex. The staff are all consistent starting from my inquiry up until moving date. The rooms are bright and the appliances are all new. I think they have given justice to what I paid for. If you want a home in a new place, you might consider Remington Gardens.
