Literal worst retro out of the 3. I go to tottenvilles location and compared to that the floor space is the smallest, all the weights are all over, and the hours are only till 10pm instead of the normal 11pm—that hour makes a difference for working people. I went here through Covid too and I dreaded every minute

I asked for assistance to the kid working at the front with glasses he totally blew me off to talk to his buddy’s. I hope that place makes a change in the staff ASAP!

One of the worst locations you can sign up for. It is dirty and most of the equipment is old and partially not working. When I wanted to cancel rep stated that I can cancel at any time before my next payment. Once I cancelled 2 weeks later rep told me that they will charge me for another month either or because I canceled less then 7 days before the next payment. I will never be back and Ill make sure nobody from my friends or family will sign for your membership either. Bogus customer oriented business, stay away.

I love the staff. There is barely (if ever) a broken machine. The site is also spacious.

The only small problem I have is that a couple of the machines have the weight numbers faded or not there. This makes it hard to tell the exact weight im using.

Besides that, it's a GREAT site!

Horrible Management. Can’t diffuse situations between to customers properly. While working out a man was harrased by a non gym member for “spitting on them” I was there and saw the altercation never did the gentleman spit on the non member. And now I hear the actual MEMBER was banned. Management would rather ban a paying member then someone who purchased a day rate and falsely accuses others. While wasting police time. Should be ashamed of the customer service you provide.

All of the staff including gabby & igor are so kind and always helpful.the manager tom is also super sweet and on top of the gym.well rounded enviroment w well kept equipment and familiar faces.

Updated Review: staff is so much more friendlier and the place is keeping up on its cleanliness.

Small gym that's got what you need. You couldn't pay me to go to LA Fitness down the street and fight for space/weights. Everyone is friendly. Would be nice if they move to a larger location eventually.

Employees are so rude and the gym is so dirty/filthy. The girl in the front showed zero professionalism and gave constant attitude whenever asked for something. Get rid of the whole staff and hire professional employees that have customer service skills.

Great gym. The members seem much more serious about their training then the LA fitness let's hang out on the machines and text. Also the members are very friendly and let you work in on on the exercises rather then you're standing around waiting. Staff is very friendly and cordial and you never have to worry if they're going to be opened up on time especially in the a.m.

Terrible experience. The Russian girl in the front is on her phone the entire time.doesnt greet or say bye to the clients. When you walk into a gym, the first face you see needs to be a energetic face, not someone who doesn’t care about the people. Also there’s another girl who just sits on her phone not paying attention to the people trying to buy smoothies. In my opinion, go to a gym where the workers actually are hospitable instead of this dirty employee gym.

Any type of gym goer would be happy to workout here. Good environment, great staff, good choice of equipment & a clean atmosphere. Easily best retro fitness on the island. Open windows with high ceilings gives it great energy to get a solid workout in. Management is friendly, the gym members are very friendly & rarely have felt any bad energy being there. Highly recommend it to everyone on the island

THIS FACILITY IS NICE HAS ALL THE BASIC EQUIPMENT YOU NEED, WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT, THEY ALSO HAVE A DESIGNATED STRETCHING SPACE WHICH USUALLY MEANS THEY MIGHT HOLD CLASSES THERE. IT IS LOCATED IN A DECENT AREA REFERRING TO IT BEING NEAR EATERIES, THEY ALSO HAVE A JUICE AND SMOOTHIE BAR, THEY HAVE GREAT NATURAL LIGHT IN HERE AS WELL WHICH I LOVE ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THIS LOCATION, NATALIA AND TOM THE REPRESENTATIVES EXTREMELY NICE THEY ALSO HAVE THE BEST PRE WORKOUT DRINK SELECTIONS I HAVE EVER SEEN,
THE BATHROOM DOES NEED AN OVER HALL, PLUS SOME EXTRA CLEANING BUT FOR THE MOST PART IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE, TRY THE CHEST FLY MACHINE IF YOU ARE EVER THERE THAT IS MY FAVORITE MACHINE RIGHT NOW

An old buff guy with a beard wearing a yellow "no drowning" shirt is always making weird noises in the gym. He than walks behind the counter, acting like he owns the gym. He is a distraction to the members actually paying for their membership.this old dude just walks in without scanning in and take everything for free.its just so unfair to see how people think they can do whatever they want.never coming to springville retro again. You guys should learn from tottenville retro.

Great place. The staff is amazing especially Pete Delaurentis! I wish i had 20 workers like him!

Watch out, this gym will charge you even though I canceled the account. Now they put my account on collection. Unacceptable. Don't bill accounts during the pandemic when the customers don't show up, especially when they canceled the account.

There has been no hot water in this gym 4 weeks to take a shower. This is a chronic ongoing problem at this gym, we have made several complaints however it falls upon deaf ears. This is been the issue on and off for two years now. It's awful to sweat and then want to take a shower before going out into the cold only to take a cold shower. Horrible.
