UPDATE 2023 at bottom! Terrible warranty on boots made a mistake to spend 200$ on boots claimed they would return them no problem but when it comes to returning them they do everything they can to get out of returning them. Save yourself time and go to tractor supply THEY GUARANTEE RETURN NO HASSLE 30 DAYS. I returned a pair there they gave me a brand new pair no problem, UPDATE 2023 was just in here for brass parts you can’t even look at parts without them hovering over you like you are stealing I won’t be coming back again that’s for sure I run 3 lemonade stands locally around the north country sure as heck not stealing a. 65 cent brass part you guys are sad!

These people are the real deal. Great selection of clothing and boots you need. Lots of caps, too. This is the kind of place I really value: old-fashioned service by local folks who know what they're doing. No way will I go anywhere else!

Rex Hardware is far more than just a hardware store. It really ought to call itself a clothing store because over half its space is devoted to clothing and coats for all seasons.

I just left Rex hardware in canton NY. I was there to drop off a cologuard test, which is very securely packaged, and I was turned away. The lady behind the counter told me they already picked up today and it was too time sensitive to leave. It was slightly embarrassing as it was to bring the item in the store but then get turned away because of what the item was. I was so embarrassed. I will never step foot in that place again and if anyone out there understands and also disagrees to the embarrassment I had to go through, please be a voice and let them know how you feel about it. Thank you

Great variety of stuff. From animal food to garden stuff and everything in between. Lots of great clothes and footwear. Great staff.

Great customer service and helpful associates ready to help locate or recommend options for many shopping needs. I love this particular location and looking thru each isle for those hard to find replacement parts or discontinued products that are unable to be ordered anywhere. This store has something for everyone and a large variety of all pet supplies that one could need to care for their pets or farm animals.

Wish we had them here in Watertown. I've been there twice in 7 days on 2 separate trips north from Watertown. I purchased stuff for putting my ham radio antenna together and putting it up. Plus they're a radio shack dealer and have a limited supply. Definitely not your typical hardware store.

Yesterday around 5: 30, I stopped by the store hoping to quickly grab something, but to my surprise, they were in the process of closing. As I was about to turn around, a kind lady who was closing up offered to let me come in and find what I needed if it wouldn't take long. I gladly accepted her offer and hurried inside to get what I was looking for. However, it took a bit more time than either of us anticipated.

During my search for the item, she noticed my struggle and went out of her way to assist me, guiding me directly to where it was located in the aisle. Once I had found what I needed, they efficiently checked me out, and I was on my way.

I truly appreciate their exceptional service, their willingness to stay open a little longer, and their ability to save me a considerable amount of time and frustration. A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to them for going above and beyond.

I have been in the store multiple times and was checking out and the price that was on the item was less than what it scanned for. Ex. Dog food said 17 something and crash out was 24 something. And they would not honor the marked price.

Excellent people to deal with. Wayyyy more products than you would expect. At least 6 or 7 different types of high-end boots. All kinds of car hart apparel. You just have to check it out!

I was surprised and pleased to see such a wide selection of clothing for working people. They have some very nice ladies sweaters, shoes and outdoor wear. Never would have thought that. The staff is super helpful.
