Rexer Family Farm, Huntington NY

A lovely store with fresh, assorted quality produce, as well as baked goods and special pieces of pottery and other crafts. The hummus & spinach dip were simple and flavorful-I pretty much finished those in the car. Next time I'll take home soup; I hear chicken soup will soon be available. I bought 7 glass Christmas ornaments for our tree-they are filled with dried wild flowers. How creative! I kept going back for "just one more ornament" as I remembered people on my list, while munching on the delicious food in the car. It was something out of a Charlie Chaplin or Mr. Bean movie. The lady at the register was patient and helpful.

I will definitely visit your beautiful farm next year again and this time I will be buying those organic fresh gold.

Everything they make is delicious! Some favorites to try: the beet hummus, chicken salad, scones, and pies.

I visited here recently and was so impressed. The quality of the produce was top notch (their blackberry jam is AMAZING!) and we had beautiful service from the woman in the shop. We paid and headed to our car only to realize we ran out of milk for our son. I went back in the shop to ask if I could buy a small jug and because I was holding my son’s zippy cup, she offered milk from their staff fridge for him. While I was happy to pay for a gallon of milk, I was so struck by the kindness of her to give me that at no cost - this is a gesture we don’t experience in service these days so it bears a mention. I’m so pleased with my visit here and recommend it. I’ll be back for the pre-made meals and soups in autumn!

What a find! Another hidden gem on Long Island! If it weren't for a special magazine that Newsday published on 01/29/23, we never would have heard of Rexer Family Farm. Such fresh produce and baked goods. Can't wait to try everything we bought. The owner (we didn't catch her name) is so lovely. We will definitely be back again. Hopefully next time she will have the chicken pot pie available.
