R&G Brenner Income Tax, Jefferson Valley NY

I have been using R&G for several years. My personal tax accountant is Jeff Pearlstein. I am very satisfied with him and it is usually quick and easy.

My tax accountant is exceptionally knowledgeable and he completed my return with accuracy. I would also recommend him to anyone who asks for tax advice.

This place is JOKE! Charging people so much to do the exact same thing EVERY YEAR! Donald you charged me 280 last years and tried to tell me that that $100 cash reward that was received on Christmas couldn’t not be used bc my original charge is $390 when last year I paid 280 - 100 increase? When you told me your self that charges will go up ONLY $10 per year! Lies lies lies! Beware! These people are crooks! Never again DONALD! Enjoy early retirement.

They take the qtime to treat me like a human being and make sure I understand what is going on.

Disgusted! They submitted my taxes late and now I have to pay hundreds of dollars in fees. D. Rosenberg doesn't have the dicency to answer my emails and accept his negligence -

We needed to find a new tax service when we moved. This is our second year in a row having taxes done by Jeff Pearlstein. We couldn't be more pleased. Very reasonably priced and high quality service.

After being a long time customer for over 20 years they refused to give a small discount. Every years the price was raised for a simple return. For 35 minutes that I was sitting there I was charged $279. When I asked for a discount he said my hands are tied. When I called Greg Brenner he flat out said that is the discounted rate. Someone is lying! Sad to lose a customer of 25 years for being so greedy. DO NOT GO HERE!

Called my tax preparer numerous times no response. Can’t get pertinent information regarding my return even after logging onto their app.

Ive been a client of R&G for a good number of years now. The gentleman who prepares my returns is always professional, courteous and does his best. Disappointed however that the rate for the service increased considerably despite the fact that the complexity of my income tax situation has not increased from prior years.
I questioned it, wasn't exactly clear on the explanation but paid without protest or argument.
As a result, unfortunately, I'm not sure that my status as a returning client can remain as such.
