Richard Rodgers Theatre reviews
14Beautiful theater and a great show of Hamilton! Very efficient organization of service staff. The performance itself sounds a little different than the original version, but the artistic level is still high! It was worth coming here!
Knowledgeable staff, amazing decor, not a bad seat in the house even in the back upper mezzanine.
An amazing venue, as long as you are less than 6' tall! The seats are REALLY squeezed in tight with less legroom than your worse airline experience.
This show was worth every penny. I bought a hoodie it was just too good. I have seen it in Chicago with the original cast and this cast sure did live up to their legacy. I am so proud of them!
Great acoustics, brilliant setting for Hamilton. Only downside was narrow seats with tiny legroom. I'm 5'9 and legs were complaining after the show. The quality of the production made up for it!
We went for a matinee of Hamilton. The theater was beautiful. Restrooms are clean. Great beverage options. The show was, of course, excellent!
Hamilton is perfect, it's worth spending money to buy the best location you can afford! The service staff from taking seats to selling products are all super friendly! The theater itself is a bit small. Judging from the long queues, it seems that many people have no time to use the restroom during the intermission. Even if you go to buy souvenirs during the intermission, you have to go through the crowds. It is very crowded and you must pay attention to your safety.
An aged but beautifully maintained theatre, with the historical architecture and trimmings intact. Seats were cramped although views of the stage were excellent, with clear facial expressions of the performers. It’s fittingly home to Hamilton, one of Broadway’s greatest musicals that should be experienced by any visitor to New York.
Great experience and beautiful theater! Hamilton was an amazing experience, and I would recommend anybody to go see it live in theaters! I was smiling the whole time, and I really enjoyed myself and the staff was extremely accommodating. Sitting inside, especially up on the front mezzanine, it is a little uncomfortable, not really much wiggle room for taller people but, the price is right and the show was fantastic.
Definitely worth seeing Hamilton here! All the hype about how amazing it is = 100% true! The music was incredible. The dancing and costumes, so beautiful. So grateful for this experience.
The theater is lovely too. I did get a little chilly, so recommend a sweater. Also, the only bathroom in the basement is a little inconvenient. However, don’t be frightened by the intermission bathroom lines, they have a system and it didn’t take that long!
I thought that it is bigger and therefore bought more expensive tickets. This is a historical place and must to visit if you are in NYC.
I saw Hamilton and the show was fabulous! I highly recommend it to anyone that likes musicals or anyone interested in history!
However, the seats are narrow with very little leg room. In addition, there was only one men's and one women's bathroom which led to a Ludacrisly long line.
With that, the theater was beautiful! The show was amazing! And the tight space was well worth it!
It should be illegal to cram that many people into such a small space. Wow. Crazy crazy line to the restroom, the line went all the way from the basement, wound around inside among hundreds of people, and reached the stage.
Also, you really should fix the ensemble person who has the squeaky shoes. Almost every single song was ruined by the sneakers.
The seats are way to close to each other if youre muscular and over 6 feet dont go I lost feeling in a leg during the play and it was not enjoyable that way
Also they had us wait in the rain 15 minutes after the announced opening of the doors
