Richmondtown Service Center, Staten Island NY

I used to own a repair shop on Staten Island. Unfortunately a situation caused me to close down. At the time the original owner Joey still owned Richmondtown service center. Any customers I was still in contact with I told them to go there because the original owner joe Raia, not sure if that is right spelling, is a very honest and trustworthy business man. Because of this he would take good care of me when I brought my own car in for service. Well he sold business to his employee Joe D. Whenever I called him to get a price on something he would get very nasty with me. He claimed I told him I was coming in for u-joints on my truck. I was planning on it but my drive shaft snapped by my work near the meadowlands in New Jersey so I wound up putting in a used driveshaft myself on floor at my work Forgot to let him know. Next time I called about my sons car he gave me a ridiculous price on a front brake job. About 200 dollars higher then anyone else. I just recently called for a price on a starter job on my car. He told me to SCREW YOU and hung up on me. The service is not the same since Joe D bought the business. I do not recommend anyone to use this place Customer service is a big part of the business. I did not want any favors or special treatment just to be treated fair and nice. I will never recommend anyone to go there again

Arrived on a weekend, it was indicated that they were open, but in fact it turned out to be closed

Called and asked the guy 100 times do you guys have safety yellow inspection sticker and said yes Made me wait an hour just to tell me they don’t have it. These plp are so slow they take hours just to do an inspection
