Rimma Gelbert, DO, Brooklyn NY

Been going here for many years, however today was the last straw! I made an appointment for my husband and myself, when we got there she called me over and said only my husband had an appointment, not me. Mind you, we always make our appointments together. I tried telling her that I had made the appointments for us both. I walked out, will never go back! Last week I was sick and tried to get an appointment and she said, I can give you an appointment next week, I said I am sick now. I even asked for a phone call, but she said doctor is too busy. I ended up going to urgent care. This is not the first time, Last October we went for our regular visit and needed our blood test results to get our meds, I made an appointment for the week we were going away. Went for my appointment and she said I never made an appointment, it was for next week. I said why would I make an appointment for next week when I am going away on Thursday. My husband never got his results as a result, he has been out of several meds since then. What kind of service is this? Going to look for another family doctor practice, one that actually cares about their patients.
Don't bother going here, you will wait for hours on end!

In my opinion: They have friendly, good, knowledgeable doctors, nurses and receptionists. I am glad to have good treatment over there.

Dr Gelbert office is most popular and best place in Brooklyn. Many people around this area know, if u needs urgent help, only this office can help u! This office has 3 PCP, laboratory, physical therapy, food care services, podiatry, cardiology, gastroenterology, ultrasound, gynecologist and more services.of course they have a lot of patients. How do u think if they have a bad services so many patients call them or come in? I don’t think so. All my family choose ONLY this office and never change our minds. Recommend!

Yes, there can be a long wait time here. It's a doctors office after all and we should all know by now that some patients take up more time. In turn, this can push back our time. But I'm okay with it because I get the best care here. Dr. Chernoglaz is kind, open minded, patient, and a very good listener. She doesn't push her patients out and takes time to listen to their concerns. They can have me waiting for hours and I'll still come back to get this top-notch care. Honestly when I book my appointments, I make sure I have time to waste lol.
