Rite Aid, Grand Island NY

The staff here especially the pharmacy staff are very unprofessional, very rude, disrespectful and lazy.
The wait time for prescriptions are way too long, and the wait time in the store to pick up your prescriptions are just as long (The drive thru is usually closed)
If you are transferring your prescriptions/ thinking about using this Rite Aid do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This is the worst Rite Aid that I have been too and how the staff treats you is horrible!

The worst Rite Aid in the area. Terribly slow. You will be line for 30+ mins every time to get a script. Poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone.

This is literally the worst rite aid around. They do not know what they are doing at all and give horrible service. They gave me expired medication before and someone else’s medication &&& also told me I had to pay full price for a medication before and I found out they were trying to hide the fact that they misplaced it. The pharmacist asked them where it went but no one knew and they all brushed it under the table. Do NOT go here.

This is one of my favorite stores on Grand Island. Very helpful and friendly staff. The managers / Dwayne and Eileen are extremely helpful and polite. The front desk attendant always greets with a smile and helps me with the weekly coupons. I love the reward points.

Grand Island store is always very clean, so for that it gets 2 stars. The next stars would be for customer service, and today that was lousy so no more stars for this Rite Aid.

This pharmacy does not understand time sensitively towards medications, does not answer calls, and is impossible to work with. Do not go here

Beyond clueless when you call them, they say “okay” to needing a refill or having a prescription ready. When you go to pick it up and it is never ready so you have to wait or come back. No matter the time of day they are NEVER attentive to the drive thru pick up. Pretty much always cars in line for 30+ minutes depending on how many cars in front of you because no one checks the window, has a clue what they’re doing, or has peoples prescriptions ready. My mother and I moved to the island back in February and she has a lot of medical issues so is constantly needing to pick up prescriptions or have them delivered and they make the experience a nightmare from start to finish.

Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with, both as a patient and a medical provider. I’ve used rite aid for prescriptions in orchard park with no problems. Moved to Grand Island and I regret sticking with Rite Aid here. Never have my prescription ready even though they say it is and then gaslight you saying “we never said that” even though I show them the Rite Aid text that THEY texted me it’s ready.
I was prescribed eye drops Monday, was told out of stock but they would be filled Tuesday by 4pm. I spoke with GRACE in the pharmacy on the phone. Showed up Tuesday they weren’t ready. Showed up Wednesday and spoke with GRACE in person this time, she said “I don’t know who told you that, we didn’t even order them yet so they won’t even be here for at least another day”. What is your problem? Terrible customer service and complete lack of care for patients.
We’ll switch to Walgreens, anything is better than this place.

The pharmacy never answers the phone what is the issue? I am switching to Walgreens across the street this is ridiculous

I have been using Rite Aid for 20 years. The staff is always helpful and super friendly. I wouldn't think of getting my medications anywhere else. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and personable. Also, the assistants behind the pharmacy counter are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!

I have never seen a pharmacy decline so fast. Customers service is the worst I have witnessed in a long time. It's like they don't care any longer

When stopping by to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist noticed an issue with what was prescribed, and personally made numerous phone calls to the doctors office and hospital, to assure the proper prescription was ordered and filled. Absolutely fantastic professional service, going way beyond where she should have.
