I just love my store. They are always helpful and stock all my favorite products.
I only wish they carried more clothes.
They also need to make sure they order more of the popular
Items so they could restock
more often.
This neighborhood would be lost without this Rite aid store
on 1st avenue and 5th street in NYC.

The employees,
kathy (Manager) is highly supportive when I need help with items,
Myra (security) is also helpful,
Ngone, (cashier) is very quick at her job
Very good employees, they have all items I need it's a very good location and most importantly it's a very clean

Supervisor Ebony was very polite and professional as busy as it was. She made all customers aware of where to checkout and made me very happy. I'm so satisfied, this will be my number one store.

Pharmacy is useless and rude, walked in 2 days ago, said “we ordered them”, walk into today “oh they were never ordered”. The pharmacist today was nice and ordered in front of me.imagine this was medication I absolutely needed? Pretty bad experience.

The staff member was very disrespectful and said she has to do nothing. I didn't know that was a job description. I guess they don't follow safety protocol.

Poor staff. They don't really try to help you solve your problem or find a product. They kind of just stand there and pretend to unpack boxes.

I witnessed an incident on Tuesday, April 28,2020 at approximately 12: 50 p.m. Whereby a customer was in the midst of paying for their items. Disregarding the 6 ft.of social distancing, another customer went to peruse the candy shelf at the base where the first customer was paying the cashier. It seems that none of the employees are properly supervising the social distancing narrative. The first customer seemed to be very upset by the 2nd customer's close proximity to them during their transaction with the cashier. Another cashier scolded the first customer for being upset and was more concerned with the 2nd customer who actually broke the social distancing rule. What's going on with Rite-Aid?

This is my local rite aid and pharmacy. The cashiers are usually judgement in what you buy. (Especially alcohol) and the pharmacists minus like one nice woman are also judgmental when all you’re try it to do is get your medicine. I only go here because it’s closest to me.

Stopped in here to grab some refreshments. Was surprised by how big the store was! Has a wide variety of items. Was even more surprised that it has an amazon package locker area by the pharmacy! Place was extremely well stocked and clean. Organized too. Very fast and convenient. Have been living in the area for a while and have never been before. Prices beat the bodegas nearby—not to mention no credit card minimum as well—so will definitely be back! Self checkout too!

I visted this store a number of times while staying with a friend in NY in Dec 2016. Sure, the staff were quite surly however i did manage to get them to smile a few times with my terrible British humour. I just assumed they were being typical New Yorkians (just kidding, New Yorkers are fab) To be fair I rather liked the atmosphere of the place but i was on holiday and terribly excited about being in NY near Christmas.

The Rite Aid at 85 First Avenue in the East Village is a very nice and friendly neighborhood store.

The folks that work there will allow you to buy what is advertised for sale, unlike some other chain stores.

Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy tend to say, "they do not honor the weekly advertised specials, and they will give you a million and one excuses.

Possibly the most 3-star place in New York. It's just solidly.there. You can get everything you need, and the employees will marginally help you if needed. There's nothing special about the product choice and the options aren't expansive, but they hit every needed category.

Employees are nice, you do sometimes have to ask them to let you put in your card number, which seems counterproductive. But overall, it's there and gets the job done.

I ran over here because I forgot to pack a couple of last minute things for my road trip to Jersey. I was trying to find those cheap magic gloves and sure enough they had them for only 2.59
This location had a huge amount of sale items so I got makeup, shampoo, and the gloves. Couldn’t avoid all the good snack and random gadgets. Classic rite aid wirh all the goodies you need.

Me: Do you have any portable space heaters? Store clerk: Yeah, we do. Me: You have them in stock? Store clerk: No.

General Rite Aid has the best sales but the lines in this store negate anything good about Rite Aid. It doesn't matter what time of the day you visit, there will be a massive and slow moving line.

I have lice and I got my lice removal, or should I say didn't get because I got there and the pharmacy was closed and now I don't know what to do.

The store is usually well-stocked and the pharmacists I've spoken to have been nice, but the lines here are insane. They always seem understaffed.
