Riverbank State Park reviews
19Lots of views of New Jersey. Great place to play sports, swim and just have fun and relaxation. Lovely picnic areas.
It’s an amazing Park! People are pretty friendly and staff is usually pretty good. My only two complaints are the cars that drive in the morning and don’t honk when they’re coming through (a lot of people are running or have headphones in) and then the opening times have been off a few days I’ve come early. I’ve waited 30-35 min after opening time on some occasions.
It was so amazing seeing different things. Enjoying picknickig. The track. The scene at night. The garden is awesome. Just watching everyone enjoying themselves and spending time with your loved ones river bank state park is it. I love it.
Always clean, the staff there is pretty decent, I really came to mention a non meat option available at the snack shop. Zucchini flowers. They're fried in a batter of some sort and mozzarella. Delightful.
Great place for cookout outdoor events and swimming pool and remember to stop upstairs for a parking permit for the lower level for cookouts
A place were I go to get away. Also when I want to workout to do my laps. Not o my in the summer and in winter.
The pool here is great for kids and the family. But their disability bathroom didn’t have soap or a trash can. It’s the same bathroom the workers use so that was very concerning. I went two days and both days no soap or trash cans in the worker/disability accessible bathroom
My first time being there brought a "wow". It's so spacious and has cool activities you can do that are skating, eating, and swimming. It's an amazing place to go to to have fun and connect with others.
The grounds are beautiful and spacious and the overlook fantastic. Employees friendly, knowledgeable and informative.
They have the stupidest rule ever. They say 1 person can't have 4 people, and only have 3, preventing my group from coming. Not fair. Also, they say 11 yo can't supervise, and you have to be 12, and that is a very age-ist rule.
Beautiful park, very spacious and CLEAN! There's many open spaces with benches, a pool area, huge gym, and field. Came here for a group outing and they had a great time.
Easy to commute to. Cheap prices for all amenities. Delicious snack bar. Happy to see it still around after all the years. #90sbaby
A phenomenal resource atop a large urban sewage treatment plant in the Hudson River with athletic and cultural facilities with an entrance off of 145th Street and Riverside Drive. Pretty amazing use of a giant roof with a spectacular view of the Hudson and the Palisades.
Didn't really get to explore the park because I was there to drop my son off for camp but what I seen while there was ok

Multi-purpose Park: skating, swimming - in/outdoor, soccer, track, beautiful views of George Washington bridge and NJ.
Great feel. So much you can do. Gets crowded but that's expected in NYC. Still enough space to breathe
I went there 2 Summer's ago (2016) with My Brother, Mom, and her Friends, the park is okay, but the pool staff is very rude/disrespectful.
