Riverdale Ophthalmology, Bronx NY

I had a excellent experience visiting Dr. Haller. He was professional and caring. The staff were also friendly and knew how to do their jobs well. My wait time from time of scheduled appointment to seeing and then leaving the office was very short. (Less than an hour) The office was clean too, equipment was cleaned before it was used. I was recommended by another ophthalmologist who immediately thought of Dr. Haller when asked about eye problem. Even though this was my first time visiting this office I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Haller is the most brilliant and fantastic doctor. His staff is amazingly friendly too. They are so nice, so sweet and when discussing my very rare condition to Dr. Haller, he was able to rattle off tons of information that my primary doctor needed to look up. I was shocked about how much he knows. Also, I felt so comfortable with him and he payed attention to me and I never felt rushed. His staff is courteous and skilled. I am so happy I switched to Dr. Haller. He is truly a wonderful find and a gem in the Riverdale community.

Such a nice doctor! He was not pushy at all to do a stye removal procedure and gave his best advice in patients best interest. Makes his patients feel super comfortable and welcomed!

Dr. Haller is the absolute sweetest and nicest physician I have ever come across. He was taking care of my autistic brother who obviously needs more time and patience. Dr. Haller treated my brother with such respect, honor and dignity, while showing him so much love. At no point did Dr. Haller ever become annoyed or rushed. It was so touching. I really hope there are more doctors like this. I would use him without hesitation

Dr. Haler is an incredibly gifted ophthalmologist. I have had many ophthalmologists, and the search is over. He is extremely knowledgeable, and is an excellent listener and communicator. He truly cares about his patients and will always take as much time as needed. He never rushes and takes the time to deliver the best of care. He is the ultimate physician and a truly wonderful person.

The ophthalmologist is friendly, thorough, and professional. He took the time to listen to me and tailored the exams accordingly—provided explanations for each exam. I highly recommend

I had read the many positive reviews, so I decided to take my daughter. We waited for over an hour. There was a young man there who’d wait for over two hours. He was clearly upset but instead of speaking calmly to him, the receptionist got very defensive and agitated with him. My daughter was finally called in, drops were put in her eyes and then she was examined (within 2 minutes of getting the drops). My daughter brought up an eye condition a family member has and he dismissed her concerns. My daughter was no longer than 3 minutes with the doctor and during this time he constantly made jokes. She was there to have a thorough eye exam, this did not happen. Now maybe this is different for his friends, for example the parent and child that spent over an hour with him. Going to Riverdale Ophthalmology is total waste of time and money. I would not recommend this eye doctor,

My entire family has been seeing Dr Haller for years. I actually get excited when people need a recommendation for an ophthalmologist so I can refer them to Dr Haller at Riverdale Ophthalmology. I have sensitive kids who really need a sensitive kind and gentle physician and Dr Haller is consistently that Dr - and funny to boot! He always makes us laugh. Besides his wonderful bedside manner, he is a thorough smart Dr who on numerous occasions have helped diagnose and treat my family’s eye issues quickly and competently. He’s probably one of the only Dr we actually get excited about seeing - including my kids! I would highly recommend Dr Haller for kids and adults alike.

Going to a new doctor can be intimidating, especially when its a bit of an emergency. I had a problem with my eye over the weekend, when it's hard to get ahold of a professional. Dr. Todd Haller came to the rescue. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, capable, and compassionate. Dr. Haller truly went above and beyond to ensure that I was safe and cared for. He did so in a humble way, not seeking or even accepting additional compensation. I am truly grateful for his kindness.

My wife and I took our 5 year old there yesterday on an emergency visit. He has a scratched cornea. I was a nervous wreck. Dr. Haller is without a doubt the most compassionate, kind and funny doctor I’d ever met. Our child came out of the office talking about the magic cream that made his eye feel better in just 15 seconds! And those eyeballs from giants Dr. Haller had treated in the past.

I absolutely love this doctor. He is brilliant, explains things so well, never makes you feel like he is rushed and is so kind and funny. I don't think I have ever gone to a doctor and said to myself "I can't wait to go back. " He has already taken care of my children, who love him (and his prize box) and my daughter did not want to leave. He makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed and I am go grateful for his care. I will definitely go back to him over any other doctor.

Dr. Haller was very thorough, funny, and all around great personality. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help me figure out what was wrong with one of my glasses.

His secretary is equally kind and outgoing.

I was seen within 10-15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time which almost never happens in this area for doctors offices.

I wish I had more experiences like this when visiting other doctors offices.

Above and beyond! My toddler had caught a case of viral and Bacterial pink eye from his grandma (who also saw Dr. Haller and loved him).

Dr. Haller came into the office in spite of not seeing patients in the Riverdale office. He was great with my son and so was his staff. Now grandma, grandpa and grandson will be seen there moving forward. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Haller found out that my sister had a retinal detachment when no other eye doctor was able to find out the problem. We had a more thorough exam than we have ever had and the technology he has is superb. I was extremely impressed.

Dr. Haller is great! Great work, funny guy, very smart, current on the academic literature, low co-pay, and used more diagnostic technology than any other eye checkup I've ever been to fully ensure the health of my eyes. He was also able to make an appointment for my sister to go right before me. Really great care!
