Avoid if your finances are tight; there is no sympathy from them. The whole experience left me feeling violated and taken advantage of, and reluctant to seek help from anyone else for being treated like this again.

I waited months to finally get an appt, which was a pretty standard one overall, nothing good or bad to say. But the billing process that came afterward was horribly scummy. Without ever sending out an invoice or an explanation of benefits or ANY kind of warning, they directly charged my card hundreds of dollars. There was no transparency about the cost or the fact that they charge you like this, and when I pointed this out to them they couldn't understand what the issue was. They seemed to think the issue was the cost (exorbitant, but I have a high deductible so I expected that), and not the fact that most people aren't prepared for a nearly $400 surprise bill.

And they did all of this the day before my next appointment, which meant I had no time to cancel according to their policy and would have been charged for it anyway. So I feel I was intentionally trapped into paying for another appointment, without knowing that this is what I was signing up for. And again, nobody seemed to understand why I was so upset. They claimed they would wait to charge my card next time until they called to tell me the charges, but they didn't even do that properly (they charged me before calling).

The whole experience disgusted me and gave me incredible anxiety (one of the things I was being treated for!), and there was no empathy from them.

I'm so glad I go to this practice. Iris Grett's is very professional and straight forward and it was just what I was looking for at the time when I transfered from the other clinic I was at which was closing there doors. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr Wilson is very passionate about his work as a psychiatrist. He makes an effort to really get to know his patients and present them with a variety of different approaches to manage your mental health conditions. He is very straightforward and respectful of your wishes regarding medication, which I prefer not to take. He explains all of his reasoning and recommendations using real life personal experiences and his knowledge of science and medicine. He is up to date on current practices in psychiatry and incorporates principles of therapy into his treatment not just a pill pusher. He really presents himself as your ally in your treatment which is so comforting to know you have a competent medical professional advocating for you and your mental health. He has great bedside manner and will give his patients a disclaimer at the first visit regarding his style of practice. He is an exemplary doctor and I am so glad I stumbled upon his practice! Dr Pardell is also a very bright physician with a passion for teaching and amazing doctor who is honest and caring.

Dr. Randy Pardell helped me through a difficult time in my life. He is pleasant, knowledgeable, affable, & compassionate.

Compassion and empathy are abundant. Dr Pardell is an expert in his craft and medicine. The stabilization that has been achieved in my mental health for the last decade has been in no small part due to the treatment I receive.

I see Terri a Nurse Practitioner at Riverview Psychiatric Medicine. Terri is a very caring person when I am not doing well she will call me back that day. I have been with Terri for over 20 years. I would and have recommended her to friends and family.

I've never been in any medical building where everyone was so nice and helpful, who made you feel that they genuinely cared about you getting better and your well being, from the counter to the nurses and Dr's until I came to Riverview Psychiatric. Can't say enough nice things about them, extremely helpful.

I had my first appointment, about a week ago with NP Iris Greta. She is extremely thorough, very compassionate and empathetic and professional to the upmost. I was very comfortable opening up to which is a huge plus! I strongly recommend her!

I waited almost two whole months for my intake appointment. I show (in Zoom) at 1: 28pm, 2 minutes early for my appointment. At 1: 34 she sends a message in the Zoom saying "I'll be right with you". I waited in that Zoom call until 2pm. Come to find out, she called my phone (from a blocked ID, which I never answer because of spam calls) and says "Why have you left the call"? (I never left). Then I call the front desk saying "I've been on hold in here for 30 mins, what do I do"? They say to just jump back into the call and that they'll send the NP a message. So I jump back in and at 2: 04pm I get the same message, "I'll be right with you". Waited until 2: 14 and she never allowed me into the call. I'm incredibly disappointed as the waiting list for an intake anywhere is tremendously long and now I'll have to wait again to begin treatment. What a bummer.

The staff here is consistently friendly and interested in the progress of the treatment. The office environment is also very well thought out positive

Dr. Pardell is the absolute best. So incredibly intelligent (about a lot of things, not just about psychiatric medicine), personable and likeable. I moved states so i'm really going to miss him. I did TMS here too and it really relived my major depression. The staff is always cheerful, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this practice in a NY minute.

I had my 1st visit with Dr. Robinson a few weeks ago and she was beyond wonderful. She listened to my concerns and asked a lot of questions which I feel is so important with getting to know me. I look forward to our appointments moving forward.

My experience with Terri Coonrad-Hershkowitz has been excellent everytime. She has helped me immensely to overcome lifes challenges.

Dr. Wilson helped me move through a significant crisis in 2014. Since then he has been dependably supportive. I was relieved to find a psychiatrist so open-minded and caring.

Dr Wilson is amazing! Since starting with him a few months ago, he has made more of an impact in my day to day life then any other doctor I’ve been to. He’s knowledgeable and respectful, and genuinely listens to you.

Love it. Dr. Robinson makes you feel heard and respected. She also REALLY knows her stuff. GREAT place.
