Rudi and her staff know about hair and color. They leave every person beautiful without damaging your hair. My hair is frizzy, and I have not lost my hair after dying.

Every person that works here is amazing. From hair to make up to facials. Marjela does my hair, she's always in time. My hair always comes out amazing. She always recommended good shampoo, conditioner and styling products.
I also got a facial with there salon esthetician Kristina! She was amazing, my skin feels and looks amazing. She gave me samples to try out! The salon also did my hair for my wedding and my bridesmaids. Everyone looked great.

This place is amazing. Rudi does my hair and she is just the best. Every time, I get exactly what I ask for and it looks great.

I’ve been seeing Marjela for my hair for a few years now and I have to say she is awesome. Love how she explains things in detail and achieves the look that I want. She’s super patient and has always kept the integrity of my hair. I highly recommend her!

I saw Marjela for the first time as a new client in 2018. After struggling to find a new colorist and stylist it was as if R&M found me. I could not have been more impressed by the service provided. The entire staff was super friendly and accommodating from start to finish. Marjela is wise beyond her years and incredibly talented. I’m so happy I found her and this salon. I have been coming here since they opened. Everyone who works at R&M is professional while also making you feel like family! They are super clean and always on time. I always walk out with my hair looking amazing. They listen to exactly what you want and even go through my pins on Pinterest with me and listen to my crazy ideas. They have been there for me through every life event, birthdays, engagement hair and even my wedding hair! Always go out of there way and go above and beyond. My hair has undergone so many amazing transformations at R&M. Even though I have moved further away from the area, I still travel to New Hyde Park to have Marjela perform her magic on my hair. I'm always so blown away at her balayage and hair cut. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her and her talents. Plus, I love that this is a family run business with Marjela's beautiful family.mom and sister. Christina has done my makeup a few times and she makes me look and feel so pretty. The women at the salon are so nice and friendly. They keep their salon fun and clean. I look forward to my appointments. In addition, Marjela has helped me with hair advice on keeping my hair healthy and how to style it with various products. I'm always getting compliments on my hair. I love this place so much! Family owned, super clean, professional and everyone is so nice. I have been going to this salon for 3 years now because I do not trust anyone else with my hair besides Marjela and Rudi! I have tried other salons in Long Island but they really didn’t listen to my concerns and I was disappointed when I left their store.

Everytime I leave this salon, I honestly feel like a Queen. Marjela is a perfectionist and does absolute wonders to my hair! She listens to my concerns and really understands my style. I recommended many people to this salon and no one was disappointed. Highly recommend!

This salon goes above and beyond every single time. I’ve been going here for years now and they never fail to disappoint. Every single time I get my hair done it comes out beautiful and they make me feel beautiful as well. I get so many compliments and I always recommend this salon to all my friends! The salon is gorgeous and the service there is outstanding! They have done everything for me such as updos, balayage, haircuts, etc… I can’t stop raving about this salon! They also have an amazing makeup artist, which I highly recommend as well. I've been getting my hair done at R&M for a while and have never been disappointed! My hair always looks great, and the staff is friendly and very professional. The place is also immaculate! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who needs their hair done! They also have a very good makeup artist that I highly recommend as well for any special events like weddings or prom! By far the best salon I've been to on Long Island!

Just went in to get my hair done and Britt did such an amazing job I had to write a review! I was pretty nervous since the last salon I went to completey messed up my balayage. Luckily, Britt at R&M came to my rescue. She was able to do a reverse balayage with mocha/chocolate thus turning it into what I was originally looking for! Definitely recommend and will definitely will be coming back to Britt!

I have been coming to R&M since December 2018 and I would never turn another way! Rudi, Marjela and Kristina make everyone feel like their own family. They are so warm and friendly and their salon is such a lovely, modern place to be. They are extremely professional and explain everything they do step by step. The girls are very honest as well in terms of what can be done and what products are better than others. Even with Covid 19, they take precautions very seriously and make your experience one for the books! Their prices are reasonable and you never leave there unhappy. I would recommend this place to anyone️

Rudi and Marjela know exactly what they are doing. The staff is so nice, the place is very well kept, and the service is incredible! I’ve been coming here for years along with my mom and sister. I can’t imagine anyone else doing my hair because somehow they just always get it right. I definitely recommend this salon to everyone and anyone. It’s also not too far from Queens and it’s worth the 20 minutes it takes to get here. 10/10!

My whole family goes to this great hair salon! The cut my boys' hair (ages 3 & 5), my husband's hair, and my hair. The stylists are excellent and friendly, and all of our hair never looked better! The salon is super clean, and it has a wonderful energy. Not too loud and noisy, but tasteful and right in our neighborhood. It's just fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough! We LOVE it!

I went in knowing I wanted to transition back to blonde. Gia took into account my previous hair damage and hair thinning concerns. I was completely comfortable giving her control to work her magic on my hair. She got my hair pretty light for the first session of the transition. When I left the salon, I felt like I had a mommy make over and I wanted to show off my hair to the world! I will never let anyone else color my hair again!

This is the BEST hair salon period, after Rudi did my hair I will never go anywhere else I was sold️️ that’s it. My daughter loves it too now I would give them 10 stars if I could keep up the great work. Marjela is amazing too.

I've been going to Gia for my hair for years now and she has always done an amazing job! She always communicates with you about what exactly you want and what she thinks will look good. Genuinely cares about her clients and is very easy to trust. R&M is a great, super safe environment, especially right now; there's hand sanitizer and temperature checks as soon as you walk in, everyone wears masks, and there's usually only one other customer there, at a completely safe distance.

I love R&M Hair Beautique. I followed my amazing stylist, Gia, from another salon to this gorgeous salon early in 2020. The salon is beautiful. Also, they have been handling all of the COVID protocols like true professionals. Gia is amazing with color and style. I have gone from highlights, to red, to blonde to now magenta and purple baylage. She is amazing!

Both myself, and my mother followed Britt from her old salon in Astoria. I don’t let anyone else touch my hair now that Britt has worked her magic. Such talent she has! Must book!

Honestly really disappointed. I used to go here for Stephanie who was great. After she left I thought I would try someone new for a haircut. Just a simple trim and a curtain bang trim. It was literally the worst haircut I ever got and $70! I had to go to a different salon after and beg them to fit me in with their best hair cutter just to fix what they messed up so badly. The other salon even agreed that my hair was so uneven and my bangs looked horrible. I had to spend another $25 just for it to be fixed! I don’t want to say names because I don’t want to potentially hurt someone’s career. But definitely do your research and take this into consideration when you book an appointment here. So disappointed.
