I can’t tell if they are fake reviews, but this is the last place you should be staying if you want a comfortable experience. There is no wifi, and you won’t get connection until you are close to the town. The rooms were clean as far as i saw, but the main building was very dusty. They have one person running the whole place, she and her daughter were nice. However, the towels that were all folded up (new) had stains on it so i doubt they were changed which is not sanitary at all. I wouldn’t risk it coming here, especially because there are much better places in the area in the same price ballpark. Not worth it

In 3 days staying there, 2 days, not once were beds made, cleaned, or even got garbage collected. Even when asked. No phone in room as they say but nobody answers at Front Desk anyways. No Wifi, poor internet. The amenities pool, basketball court, tennis court, main house are old, outdated and not maintained. Broken down and unsuitable for rental. Staff is pleasant, most speak no English. No horse so drop the ranch mis-advertising. Over-priced and a waste of money. Not advertised accurately. Has an area for tents suitable for homeless. Grass not cut, unmaintained. Insulting lack of any service. Will pursue refund we with Discover.

Although the surroundings are beautiful. Unfortunately our room being pet friendly had stains on the carpet and of course the horrible smell of doggy pee.

Got in to find the carpet soaked from recent shampoo. Given another room, barely any water pressure in shower and light over vanity was so dim you could barely see and air conditioner blows right in you while standing at vanity. Bad flooring in bathroom. Woke up to noise from room above us with creaking floors. Won’t stay again.

The place is a total scam. Impossible to get the office by phone, calls are made to Florida area code, 518 phone number only rings with no answer, no one answers, you can only leave voice mail, no information for getting on demand movies, had 20 min wait with Spectrum to call number given, but Spectrum can not assist as office needs to set it up, but no answers the phone, TV box turn off on it's own, no restaurant, no horses as stables are run down with no wranglers, no coffee pots (they have strictly regular coffee at the front desk, no decaf coffee, no microwave, no wifi, no telephones, no turn down services, no cleaning, no tables outside of rooms, terrible old uncomfortable chairs outside room, basketball, volleyball/badminton is set up on a slant with large bushes that are only in the way, basketball court is a mess with pole slanted over with a torn net that is barely visible. Staff is very limited and lies about getting towels, etc, never to be seen again. Have to take out your own garbage. Had to get sheets from the office and make up our own beds. Bathroom sinks are cracked and damaged.outdoor and indoor furniture is sub-par and broken, damaged and cheap. The water fountain is small using pool liner. They actually have a tip envelope in the rooms with no legitimate purpose, they don't do anything for you except charge exorbitant prices with no amenities or services. Indoor and outdoor pools are average size and only 4 ft deep. No screens on the windows to prevent bugs coming in so you shouldn't open windows. Landscaping is pitiful with weeds growing everywhere, flower beds, flower pots; it's a mess? Be better off staying in a Days Inn or other pet friendly lodging and that's truly saying a lot. Call the office for information, etc.and you get someone that knows nothing about anything, puts you on hold and never comes back. Major disappointment! We were so excited to come here, bring our children and grandson. None of the advertisement photos of horses, restaurant meals, drinks, activities, etc.are real, which is totally false advertising. It's despicable. Must have been a beautiful place at one time, but you can't find any history about it at all. When was this resort built? This place should not be opened until they are ready for business.reviews are deceiving. Not even close to 4 star, not even 2 star. Rooms and office are stuffy and wreak of mildew, if you don't keep A/C, even if you don't need it on it's disgusting. Someone said to me, "that's the country for ya"; well, I'm from the country and this is disgraceful. ‍

Made reservations for this coming weekend, been trying to call for over 4 days to confirm reservations no automated answering, no voicemail, and no one ever answers I would be afraid for anyone else to book at this place as I feel they will get scammed, as we feel we have, and we have just booked a different place seeing how no one wants to answer a phone in over 4 days

Amazing potential! Let's give them a chance to fully start, it will be a great place. The lady at the reception was super nice.

We had our daughters wedding guests lodge at RBR last weekend. The plans we hoped would happen for Fri-Sun actually did happen! The staff worked hard to make the weekend rock - they were all accommodating and friendly. As the mother of the bride, I want to give a big shout out to RBR for helping to make good times and lasting memories!

Amazing! Just didn't have a microwave we needed for our baby and power went out for 30min during storm so stuck with no water. But quality of all the appliances are brand new like. No smell for smoke or something foreign, very quite feels like your private lodge and balcony is room is a big plus for the view, good cable tv also. Rates are amazing for busy season. Yes maybe their roads are little rough but for the price everything you are getting, no reason to complain and we didn't care about not having wifi. Will definitely return.

The Good the Bad & the Ugly. Pool, Fire, pit, new TVs updated bathrooms location (Good) mildew smell in room, cold showers, unable to reach front desk to resolve anything, zero food or coffee maker not even a vending machine.not even a potato chip to be found.bottle of water nuttin. I was unhappy with the 5 star bill & 2 star experience & let the lady at front desk know. She snapped at me (Ugly) said she would make it right & took 10% off the bill.alrighty then.sadly I've seen worse.but this place could be awesome if they would just be Honest

We prepaid for our room through AGODA back in Dec of 2021 for the car show. Upon arrival, they wanted us to provide a credit card for the rooms. I told them that we were prepaid. They assured us that it was just to cover incidentals. Upon checkout, no one was there so we could not get a receipt. 2 weeks later, they charged my credit card for both rooms for the full amount.
When you call them, no one answers the phone. Had to file a claim with CITI bank.

Nice quiet place! Rooms are bigger that what I thought. Very clean and well organized. There are 2 heated pools. Tennis court, giant chess, fire pit, grills that you can use. They also have pool tables, ping pong table and volleyball court. Close to downtown, restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay here again.

I personally liked the room. They are all old infrastructure but kept clean. 5 minutes to lake George. There is barely a Mountain View at this place. Reception and staff is friendly and nice. For the price we pain I certainly need a nice view.

Our stay was amazing! Although it's a newly acquired property with some of the amenities like food not available, it's a BEAUTIFUL stay. The pool was resort style and luxurious. The rooms were clean, HUGE, and tons of storage. The morning walks we did thru out the property were so relaxing and beautiful, especially seeing the cute spicy Geese on the property Looking forward coming back next year for sure.

If you love the country scene, and aint too boujee then you would like this place. I booked because I needed a place to stay with my 80 something pound pitty. I loved the scenic area. I will say, if you stay on the bottom floor like I did, you will hear ppl and pets running around; was a bit annoying, but eventually they stopped. I did see 3 spiders in the bathtub but I washed them out and that was it. The rooms are spacious and has a fridge. You have to go to main desk area if you want to use microwave. The lady in front desk was very pleasant. I believe her name was Christy. I wasn't able to connect to the Wifi for my computer, but I had my phone. You're less than 5 minutes to the dog friendly beach. This was my first time in Lake George, and I just winged it. I had an awesome time with my dog. I can't wait to go back!

I brought my family here hoping to create some great memories at a place I visited as a child. While much of what I remember has changed or is now long gone, we still had a nice stay. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place that offers you beautiful views, swimming and plenty of space to walk (or in my toddler's case run) you've found your place.

Updated motel-like accomodations rooms with cable and A/C. Unfortunately there is no WiFi in the rooms. If you have a family, I'd recommend getting the King suite to give yourselves space.

Location to the village of Lake George and surrounding areas is a plus.

We plan on returning in the late fall, inshallah.

Room is a little outdated and smells strong of bleach, but overall clean. The best part of the resort are the 2 ducks by the pond. They are always looking for food from passing cars and guests; very cute.

Quiet, summer camp vibe. Lots of rooms, some not in use. No internet, tv, or restaurant when we stayed. I fear they've been hit hard with pandemic/staffing issues which is a shame because it could really be an amazing place! For traveling with two dogs, and wanting to be away from busy tourist areas, this was the perfect place for us. Rooms were very clean, decor was trendy and chic with an Adirondack feel. We plan to visit again!
