I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Edelman after being taken to the hospital for a Kidney Stone. The person who answered the phone to schedule my appointment was new but courteous and asked for help to fit me in the following day. He could have just said we don't have appointments until next week but made the extra effort. Upon arriving to my appointment the office staff was pleasant and accommodating. My wait was short to meet with the initial nurse who did a sonogram and took some blood. Dr. Edelman arrived shortly after with a smile and some pleasantries. We shared some stories about growing up in Brooklyn and he made me feel at ease. His knowledge and pedigree can not be challenged he is truly at the top of his field, especially on Long Island. In a time where most DR. 's see you for three minutes write a prescription and send you on your way it was reassuring to know that people like Dr. Edelman still exist. He took the time to explain my options recommended staying off of a particular medication and allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed. I read some of the other reviews and feel for them that they had such a drastically different experience than I have. Although the complaints were about staff which I am sure have been addressed because everyone I met was super nice and empathetic. If you are considering a Dr to treat prostate issues or Kidney Stones look no further than Dr Edelman

I went to get a PSA Test. RESULTS WERE NEVER SENT. I asked if I should continue taking Tamsulosin. Dr.said yes. Today I recieved a notification from CVS that the Dr.refused to renew that RX. The PSA test was administered 2 months ago.
