Robert Moses State Park - Thousand Islands, Massena NY

Love going for walks there during summer, and just reminiscing about all of my great childhood memories of camping there with family and the place used to get packed.

We only camped here for one night. It's a beautiful park, and I liked the spot I had. One has to be careful about what site you pick. Some sites have zero privacy.

The beach is great! Nice campsites. Only problem is, some of them have too hard/rocky ground to pound stakes in for your tent.

Nice camping area. Very quiet with large spaces for RVs. Most sites do not have water but it is available at spigot around the camp grounds.

Really nice place to visit or camp. I just stayed 4 nights. The campsite was decent. All the other campers were cool. I was fishing so I went to sleep early. It was a little loud but I get it. Bring your own tp to the bathroom because it goes fast. I got lucky but I heard a few people that got stranded because the tp was empty. The park police officer was really nice. Talk to him. He's a trip. All the park staff were great except the blonde girl with the arm tattoos at check in. She was just about worthless. She needs to get a different job. Fishing was great. I caught my biggest smallmouth ever. Deer and turkey everywhere. I really enjoyed it. It's cool driving under the Eisenhower lock. At&t phone service is pretty much non existent. I'd go back again

I grew up spending summer days at Barnhart Beach and walking to the Marina' having picnics at the picnic area with my cousi so and tent camping at the campgrounds, watching the ships go through the locks, visiting the power dam.so many memories! Now every year we rent a cabin and get together with friends and family in a beautiful setting where the only light at night is from the dam' and the only sounds are bullfrogs. I love it here!

Campsites and restrooms are very clean, large sites. Great towns not to far away to see and good food.

Clean, spacious and beautiful water view. Nice choice of water front or wooded private sites.

Great post summer camping with only 12% of sites occupied. Beautiful weather w/ 70°s during the day and upper 40s at night. The site 55 that I was in had a side view of ships and barges going into and out of the lock from the west side. Lots of areas to hike, bike or run. Lots of water for boating, etc.

Loved our stay. Just wish they would enforce the generator rules better. Listened to a generator 24/7 a couple sites over for two days. Even complained.

Kids loved the playground and the facilities were well kept and very clean

We stayed in a cabin and loved it. We had great views, were close to the water, and were a good distance from other cabins. The cabins are a great size too. I wish they had mopped the floors though. It was a pretty big bummer that dogs couldn't go to the beach, but we managed.

Very beautiful place. The weekend went flawless and the Saint Lawrence is always great. Bathrooms where clean and tidy.

Amanda is so friendly and Awesome. We just visit to see her and it bonus to see the boats!

I was very disappointed the bathrooms didn't work and they had porta potties almost over flowing.
