We have recently concluded our legal matter with attorney, Robert Beehm, and we were very satisfied. He handled everything in a highly efficient and professional manner. He returned our emails and phone calls in a timely manner and continually answered our questions. His hourly rates are very reasonable, and he has an excellent knowledge of civil litigation. We recommend him to any parties that need legal representation.

I hired Mr. Beehm for an appeal on a custody case for my son back in 2008. He did more for me on the appeal than what the original lawyer that I hired did during the almost 2 1/2 year court battle. We won the appeal and I got paternity and shared custody with my son. This past year, Mr. Beehm helped me out with another issue with my son and we got that taken care of. We did not have any in person meetings, it was either over phone or via emails. That is to be expected in this post Covid society.

Communication could be better with Mr. Beehm as far as getting back to you after the court appearences, that were all virtual and ended up being conferences between the lawyers only. It took a couple of days for him to get back to me, and that can be pretty stressful if you are not aware of what is going on.

Mr. Beehm has always gotten judgement that I wanted and within a reasonable amount of time, even for the NYS court system. That is usually unheard of. Mr. Beehm is very professional and I would definitely use him again for any family legal matters.

Communication between client and lawyer or his office could be better. That is my only real gripe, but it is probably better than most lawyers in the area.

Robert and Dakota have been great! They always respond to my inquiries in a fast and courteous manner and their expertise is top notch

I have had Robert as my attorney for years.
We began when my then husband and I retained him for the purchase of our home. And then, when our marriage didn’t work out, I chose Bob to represent me in the divorce.
It was the height of Covid when I finally filed and despite closed courts and lots of technical difficulties with backlogs when the courts reopened, Bob and Dakota communicated everything with me, answering all my crazy questions and concerns and ultimately made a very painful time, much less painful and navigable for me.
I was so glad to have their understanding and experience on my side.

Robert Beehm has helped my family with multiple legal issues over the last ten years and he and his paralegal staff have always communicated well and usually very promptly. They have been able to understand complex issues and provide solid advice in understandable terms. This is definitely a great choice for a knowledgeable and empathetic legal team.

I retained Mr. Beehm to collect a land deed debt owed to me. After the initial consultation which started during covid, Mr. Beehm reviewed the case and explained my options.
I chose to proceed with a foreclosure which required steps that I was told would take many weeks or months before getting to court and the case could take a year. There would-be factors that would be outside of his control such as the replies from the person I’m trying to collect from and court calendars. Mr. Beehm did advise me of estimated cost and how retainer funds are drawn down as services are rendered. My case has taken over a year and in general, hiring a lawyer is expensive that said having legal representation is invaluable.
Cons:
-The office was not proactive in keeping me updated. I wish they would call or e-mailed a bi-weekly or monthly status (for no charge). Once I was able to get replies to any inquiry the answers provided were concise.
- Small office staff.

Pros: The office is professional and does at times go above what they are being paid to do.

I highly recommend this attorney. He has represented both myself and members of family on multiple occasions. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and communicative.

I retained Mr. Beehm to be my attorney regarding a CPS hearing that I was falsely accused of. Mr. Beehm has always been great at explaining things and being honest about what to expect. Mr. Beehm and his team went above and beyond for my CPS hearing. They were able to track down a former employee to testify that CPS would not allow access to. Since then, I have retained Mr. Beehm again for my custody hearing. Mr. Beehm has always put my childs best inerests first and this is AMAZING! I have had my fair share of attorneys (paid and court appointed) and nobody compares. All attorneys should strive to be this good!

I can't say enough good about Robert Beehm. Do too unfortunate circumstances I've needed a family court attorney. I'd heard good things about Robert Beehm, so I reached out to him. They were regarding me getting, and then keeping custody of my daughter. Rates were fair, terms were easily read and understood. Communication was either phone, or email. Both in a timely manner. All three times he was successful in getting, and me keeping my daughter. Highly recommend this attorney.

I have worked with Mr Beehm for approximately 15 yrs. Mr Beehm has represented me and my family during divorce, child support, visitation and most recently a criminal charge. Mr Beehm and Dakota have been extremely responsive to phone calls as well as emails. I can be very persistent, and during trying times they expect and understand that. Turn around time for a response has been at most a few hours. He has always given me sound advice and explained all outcomes. Unfortunately not everything works in my favor no matter who is representing me. The presiding judge has the finally say. As for billing, lawyers are expensive and I am always aware by email and a paper invoice as to what is owed. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great lawyer.

This lawyer never got back to me and just took off with the remaining of my money he owes me. I put a retainer deposit down and he never used it all and now he owes me money

Not a good attorney. The only communicate through emails. If you have a question and you need the answer right away don't expect to get it right away. Expect to get it two or three weeks later and be billed for it. Get your information from the courts 3 weeks before they decide to send it to you and get billed for it. I was billed for more emails and quote telephone correspondences than actual attorney time. I spent over $5,000 and he spent over a year on a case and I got absolutely nowhere with it and still remain in the same position I was over a year ago. Terrible terrible attorney do not hire this man

All the previous negative comments, copy and paste here. Does not respond to questions and communication at all. I was receiving all these documents in the mail from the other parties lawyer and did not know what they meant or how to respond. Silly me, I thought this is what a lawyer was supposed to do is answer my questions and inform me on my legal rights. Finally, when I was able to schedule a meeting with him, he told me that what I was looking for was to be treated with fairness and receive justice as an outcome. He flat out told me that I wasn't going to get that. My frustration level reached an all time high and we resolved the case enough that I just needed to be done with Mr. Beehm and his office. This was all prior to covid. I had a good chunk of money left in the retainer account. All attempts to get accurate billing invoices and an official case close letter to get our leftover retainer back were meant with silence. Covid hit and I figured that was it. I was never going to get any of that money back. I found it hysterical that I was in the situation where I needed a lawyer to sue my lawyer. Over a year passes with nothing, no email, no phone calls, no letters. Suddenly, out of the blue, just this week I get an invoice in the mail. Do not even think about attaching yourself to this attorney. Stay as far away from him as possible!
