Rochdale Village Shopping Mall, Jamaica NY

Ideal grocery store is ALWAYS FREEZING. I expressed to manager that many elderly shop in there, and the many customers that were presently shopping were complaining that it was too cold in the store. He seemed unbothered, until I revealed to him that customers rush to get out of the store and SPEND LESS.

Rochdale Village is a very good place to shop around for different be things and has some eateries. Definitely have to go to the Crunch Gym

I love Rochdale village ideal super market! The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and people are very nice! I will definitely recommend it!

Much better than it was years ago when I was a kid! It’s clean and quiet inside. There are a few takeouts with great food offerings. The same Jamaican spot is still there too. I’ll have to try them one day. They could work on organizing that parking lot a bit but otherwise I was pleasantly surprised!

I only enter this shopping center to access the bank that’s located within the development. Parking is usually a challenge here. Because it’s close to my home sometimes my family will use the bank within this shopping center. However it’s never a preferred choice. There is limited access in and out which from my experiences here many times creates a “bottle neck” when attempting to get in or out.

Rochdalel is a amazing African American community. That's safe has tons of green space, tennis courts, a basketball court.it is also very close to several elementary schools junior high schools and high schools. It's very close to public transportation, a shopping center and quick and easy access to JFK international airport. Rochdale village is quintessential community for generational living.

A nice Small Mall especially popular to Seniors on most days. One Stop Shopping for Post Office, Pharmacy, Lotto, Liquor, Lunch, Bakery, Banking, Sterling Optical, Supermarket accessible, etc.

If you're looking for parking, good luck. Space is limited. You have a better chance finding parking inside the Pentagon than here usually. It's due to the Doctors office nearby mainly than the shopping center itself. Best to get there before 11am.

Went for Early Voting! Lines moved at a steady pace. Inside was veeerry organized! Workers were very courteous!

There are two separate malls at different locations in Rochdale Village. I like both. They are not huge but they each have a full well stocked supermarkets. The mall on Baisley Blvd had a walk in mall with a bargain discount store, nail salon, hardware store, barbershop, sneaker store, beauty supply store, women's clothing store, jewelry store, tax preparer/copy print store, notary, and restaurants/bakery. Outside of mall you will find a post office, drug store, supermarket and gas station.

I went there to vote. I voted early. Must vote on November 3rd. Vote like your life depended on it!

They sold me a $27.00 piece of spoiled salmon at Ideal Supermarket and then refused to take it back! I froze it for about a week and thawed it out and opened it and it smelled horribly. I will never patronize that store again. It disturbs me when establishments move into a community and appear not to have the best interest of the community in mind.

This area is a nice shopping area, that goes right into Rochdale Park which is a big area with a beautiful garden. The locals are pleasant. It is nice to know that some of them have a green thumb.

I was pleasantly suprised at the new and improved makeover. They habe a new supermarket and everything is soooo fresh and good. Ill be back for more cran cakes!

Store is big enough and small enough at the same time. Shelves are stocked produce is better than average. Only complaint is too many boxes in the aisles and I wish I could shop online and have groceries delivered. Wish they had a fresh fish market. Super happy that a $40 or more purchase and they will deliver groceries to my front door. Good cold cuts and fresh salad section.

This place is a amazing and the setup of the environment compliments it and they have a lot of services you can use

This is one of the most boring shopping spots to be honestly, its even worse than the Green Acres Mall.
