Rochester Amtrak Station North Parking Lot

My daughter and I always travel from ROC to NYC by the Amtrak train. The staff is always nice and the ride is always quiet. Wearing a mask for 8 hours straight sucks but that's out of their hands

I used Amtrak for a trip upstate this weekend. The train was very clean and the seats were very comfortable. Plenty of foot space too! Sit on the left side of the train for the best views. They have a cafe with a variety of foods and snacks, prices were reasonable. The cafe woman was very pleasant. Overall my experience was good. My only complaint was the passenger behind me kept kicking my chair. This was very difficult to deal with as a female traveling alone. I would probably take Amtrak again.

I've been a few times now and have gone both very late and night and mid morning. Station has been clean and so has the bathrooms. I enjoy the seats have chargers in the rows while you wait. There are three options to get to/from the platform for all levels of walking abilities.

Nice and clean station. The staff is very helpful. Take the time to walk around and read about the history of the station.

It's pretty good, watch out when pulling in there is a different entrance for the parking lot and for drop offs
