Rochester Classical Academy

Our experience at Rochester Classical Academy has been wonderful! The school has a family feel. The teachers know and love each child so well! The teachers bring every lesson in every subject back to scripture and the Gospel!

Our son has loved going to school, and thrived there. I love the community of parents, the curriculum, and the values instilled in the kids each day. Highly recommend!

Rochester Classical Academy has been the most wonderful education decision for our family. The curriculum is top notch and focuses on the development of the whole child: academics, character and faith. There is a genuine love and care for each person (teachers, parents, students), and we feel at peace sending our daughter to school each day, knowing she is supported by this fantastic RCA community. We researched education options for our children extensively, and Rochester Classical Academy is even better than we could have imagined. We are so thankful for RCA – it is a truly special place.

Since we already knew about classical Christian education, we had high hopes before enrolling, but RCA has exceeded our expectations! The quality of the academic component is tremendous, the character and spiritual formation are true, and the community that has developed since the school opened has been nothing short of wonderful. The kids are bright-eyed and engaged, full of wonder and excitement to learn more about the world and the things God has revealed to us.

"We started our education journey at home and were excited to pursue Classical curriculum. While the Classical aspect was very successful for our kids, we noticed that home education may not be the best option for their needs. RCA came along at the perfect time for our children to get the classroom atmosphere they clearly needed without sacrificing the Classical educational model we desperately wanted to hold onto. As parents we still get to be readily involved in our kid's schooling, but now they are getting so much more than we were able to do ourselves. Our son is thriving in school at Rochester Classical Academy! He comes home excited about what he is learning each day. The breadth of information is so much more vast than he covered in all of last year at a public school. We love hearing him talk about his love for his classmates and the opportunities he has to sing, pray, and grow together with them. Knowing that he starts each day of learning with a focus on the Lord, we have also seen him grow in his confidence as a servant-leader. His learning is enhanced by the allowance that is made for outdoor play each day, with unstructured time for exploration, imagination, and creating. RCA is truly a blessing to our whole family as we look forward to sending our daughters with our son in years to come.

RCA was my son's first taste of school and a classroom environment and it has been such a joyful and sweet one. The teachers value creativity, play, thoughtfulness, and the children's innocence. We look forward to watching him grow in his faith and intellect for many years to come at RCA.
