Rockaway Beach Park reviews
9This makes for overcrowding and dirty beaches. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the weekends, mid-week much more pleasant.
Lots of energy because of the diversity. The cleanliness can be a hit or miss depending on where you decide to pitch your tent.
I love walking on this beach, especially off season when I can bring my dog and avoid crowds.
Always love a rip out to the beach. City stresses hide away and boardwalk freaks tip hats and smile.
Come enjoy some of NYC'S low cost, beautiful sceneries. But PLEASE clean up after yourself. Too many people come and distroy out beaches. Thanks in advanced.
5 stars for an affordable local nyc getaway! Beaches are clean. NYC parks and rec staff are friendly. Easily accessible via car, train or ferry. Perfect for a last minute day trip during a summer sizzle.
The beach and water is always clean. It tends to get crowded on the weekends. In the time of Covid, beachgoers practiced 6 feet of separation, and almost everyone had masks in more crowded areas. Topless sunbathing is permitted.
Can't believe the changes nice to relax and walk on the boardwalk.what a change after Sandy
The boardwalk is much better to walk on and the concession stand are a great place to visit in the summer time.
