Rockefeller Park reviews
15This park is beautiful with a spectacular view of the NJ skyline over the Hudson River. I totally recommend to anyone! One of friends hosted a birthday picnic for his wife and all her friends. It was fantastic!
Amazing place for kids and couples or family with any number of people:)
Its clean and good public
Small but with beautiful view of New Jersey, and grass is well-groomed. Very clean park, which is rare in NYC.
Right on the Hudson. My favorite park to bring the little ones to. Best playground equipment. Water fun and sand play as well. Plenty to do, great views. Restrooms clean across the street.
Great park to take your family and friends. There is a lot to do here and it’s awesome. You can look at the Hudson River, Statue of Liberty, boat docks, the pounds, and the birds. You can also use the play ground, picnic area, and activity session with your family and friends. Also, a lot of people that come here go for a runs, a quick reading session at a bench, or even to eat and enjoy the views.
Great place, great park, will recommend!
It's beautiful! It has a big playground for the kids. Really close to a movie theatre and you have access to the ferry boats. Loved it!
Just an infrequent visitor to see familu. But this is an amazing park, I would certainly tell a local or a visitor to go. Plenty of 'size' stuff for almost any age kid. So far I've only run into understanding and amicable parents when it came to sharing toys and the like.
The only thing that could make this park better is if they had public restrooms. The playground is well gated and has water for the kids to splash inAnd drinking fountains. Also has sandbox and a little area for tots. There were lots of things on the lawn to play with as well. There is a building that will allow you to borrow books as long as you give them your ID. They also have air hockey and table tennis things like that that the little ones can play. It is right on the water so it’s nice and breezy lots of trees lots of grass. Great place to have a picnic and let the kids play.
Nice park and yeah there are many lovely and kindful people there. I am happy that i was thereGo there and enjoy yourself. Public bathroom and children seats available there. I hope thate everyone will enjoy this place.
Great family park. Something to do for everybody. Basketball courts, handball court, swings, playground with sandbox, huge lawn to just lay out and relax and in the summer. Ping pong tables, billiards, table hockey and other activities are all available for rent, free of charge.
Rockefeller Park captures everything summer in NYC is all about. Great alternative for locals and tourists alike that would rather avoid the commute to Central Park. I'll also mention - this area offers views you might expect from a VR simulation if you're looking for a new place to run.
A little corner of the Rockefeller Park near the entrance from Chambers Street is absolutely amazing. It has thousands of large and small sculptures of world-famous Tom Otterness. Make an effort to find it, and you will never forget it.
It's a beautiful park with games for the kids during the summer, clean and nice bathrooms and great views.
Lovely park. Lots to see and do, fun for all. Play in the playground or have a picnic. It's cool because it's right by the water.
What a great find. I had never been here before stunning park and a great pathway to walk along the water.
