Rong Chinese Restaurant reviews
9Rong = wrong.food is very poorly made. They even charge for tea. Or you just drink plain water. A pricey fancy place but that's it.
Food here for lunch is totally delicious and ridiculously cheap. They even offer lunch specials on weekends. The meat dishes range from 5.50 to 7 dollars and are enough to feed an individual person. Their noodles and fried rice range between 8 and 12 and is enough to feed a person and a half. It's super worth it. The environment is of new Flushing, nicely decorated not grimy like older Flushing establishments. Totally worth going for lunch. Haven't been there for dinner, but wouldn't be opposed to it.
Sincerely the Rong restaurant. The first red sign was when there were no more pork buns (the reason we ordered from here). We replaced those with spring rolls which were thankfully good. The chicken and broccoli didn't look like any chicken and broccoli I've ever ordered. Despite the way the chicken looked it didn't taste too bad until the after taste came in. The double cooked pork belly was mostly vegetables and extremely spicy (some might enjoy). Neither dish came with rice which was unexpected. The price was far to much for the amount of food given, uncomparable to the usual chinese food restaurant where you can eat half and be stuffed. This is indeed the RONG restaurant from the prices to the food. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else.
Sidenote: we got pizza
Gray surface and okay quality Chinese food, the seat is cozy than most of Chinese restaurant in Flushing
This restaurant has changed to Cantonese style. Price is reasonable with good service. We have four of us and the bill was $82 including tax and tips.
Very good authentic food at a fair price. The dining room itself is beautiful and the food ids very tasty. There is also a bar, which is all the better if you'd like to spend time and chat with your friends. The wait staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Nah, this was the Rong Restaurant to go to. I'm kidding I didn't even go inside, I saw it was the "Rong" Restaurant and turned away immediately.
Good dinning experence here. Delicious dishes at fair price, it will be my best dining memory in NY. As a traveller, it is a ideal restaurant to eat Chinese food.
Service is probably one of the best in Flushing. Food is good. This place is never crowded even on a weekend nights (at least for the few times I was there).
Their menu got smaller recently, so the choices became limited. Even for few dishes that was on the menu, they said they "ran out", so expect to get disappointed when you order.
Overall, it's good place for family gathering.
