This turned up when I was looking to get keys made for my boss. It took 45min to even get to me, did not tell me until he had already begun it was cash only. It then took more than half an hour to make 8 keys.

Overcharged, did not have ability to make a receipt to give my boss, only wrote it on his advertising postcard.

Didn't know the neighborhood well and turned out there was a hardware store across the street. Maybe hes great with leather, but dont get keys made here.

The worst. Destroyed my Ray-Bans and insisted on charging me $15, then $20 for fixing what should have been done in the first place. Then made inappropriate advances to the customer. Avoid at all costs.

Alex was quick, friendly, and did an excellent job with my shoes (re-soling, polish, leather balm). Highly recommended.

Really nice man helped repair my shoes I had just bought the day before, unfortunately less than 10 minutes into wearing them they broke again in the same spot he repaired them in. I had a pretty long walk in NYC barefoot with only one shoe because of this. Not fun to say the least. And because I don't live close enough to return and ask him to fix them correctly this time, which I wish he had done when I initially brought them there and I don't want to pay twice for something that should've been fixed the first time, my shoes are still broken and unwearable. Even after I paid him extra because he said he would fix them better if he took apart the seam, which cost extra but I agreed, it unfortunately made no difference.
