Root Hill Cafe reviews
12Cute cafe. Very good (and hot!) breakfast sandwiches and coffee, tea. Friendly team behind the counter…
One of the worst places I have ever seen the I hate it but I have never visited it wish I could visit america I will not visit your cafe I just felt like giving you worst review I am just bored
I had their chicken empanada which was very tasty. Also had a piece of their pound cake which was light and moist.
I'm slowly becoming a breakfast sandwich and chai latte aficionado. We found this lovely place on an early Sunday morning.
It wasn't too busy or too crowded. There were a few folks sitting inside and outside the cafe. We opted to take our order to go since it was raining.
The egg and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun is tasty. My sandwich was hot, cheesy, and coupled with the best fluffy eggs. The chai latte had great flavor too.
This quaint space was designed for mingling, so I suggest hanging out for a bit. They've got a deep menu, so we'll be back to visit.
The best overnight oats I've ever had! Also, the best GF brioche breakfast sandwich. So good and the people are super friendly!
I come here occasionally because it's convenient but the coffee kind of sucks. I usually order a latte and it's really bland. Ice latte is even worse. Barista put so much milk that it was overflowing (the lid sucks) and tasted like diluted milk, zero coffee taste.
The Sunday chef is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful, kind and makes awesome food! Highly recommend when she's working! A raise is definitely needed.
Good coffee, happy staff… even learned a motto to use in life! A gem in downtown Brooklyn.
Might be good when not served in cardboard, but it’s hard to know …. Bc everything tasted like the cardboard.
Super cute coffee place. Located on 4th Ave, so it's a great location. I love the lavender latte with oat milk. Baristas are always quick and friendly.
The cold brew with a splash of oat milk is also awesome.
Outdoor seating is super nice in the warm months.
LMAO at this one-star review after Root Hill closed for a single day due to a *hurricane* flooding the cafe. Delightful staff, incredible coffee and food, and all-around great vibes.
