Some of the worst service I’ve received in recent memory. After arriving a few minutes earlier than one member of our party (who was arriving imminently) was asked very rudely by the hostess to wait outside in the cold. After being seated, was not seen for 15 minutes, took another 30 minutes after ordering for drinks to arrive (which were all wine, no complicated cocktails). One of the entrees then arrived lukewarm (steak). After leaving a tip that reflected the quality of the service, our waitress asked if we had issues, to which we explained the above - she repeated the list back to us sarcastically and rolled her eyes.

Just an unbelievably bad restaurant experience at a place I used to enjoy going to… recommend to ownership to take a long and hard look at who’s being employed, as the location, aesthetic, and food has a ton of potential… but any restaurant that treats patrons like this will suffer in the long run

Service is amazing, really kind and attentive, but the food is just below average and overpriced

Visited this place with my parents (60+) for their visit to nyc. Unfortunately despite reading lots of great reviews, this place didn’t deliver for us sadly. I would like to say though that the service is great and the staff are a real asset to the establishment. Very kind, attentive and patient.

We had a reservation for early evening with the sun pouring through - the building is gorgeous with plenty of glass for lovely natural light; however with the lack of soft furnishings, this not only makes it generally a more difficult environment for anyone remotely hard of hearing, but the harsh light makes for a lot of sensory overload. Luckily once the sun goes down, the lights are dimmed and the restaurant becomes a lot more atmospheric and calmer.

The food is generally fine, nothing special and certainly nothing compared to the general standard of Italian food in the neighbourhood, let alone nyc. Don’t recommend to order any salads as a main course as these are predominantly lettuce and the stated ingredients are included at a very limited quantity. We ordered pastas and 2 were delivered undercooked. Also as a note - the gamberi pasta sauce is unexpectedly rich.

I want to reiterate that the staff here are wonderful and so knowledgeable. Overall I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit this restaurant, especially in a group with people you want to have a conversation with.

While in NYC we were able to make a reservation for a large group here. The place is mostly Italian food and has some good menu items. When we went for dinner, we noticed that it was packed and it has a pretty good atmosphere. We liked the drinks in particular but the food was alright. One of my friends got food that was delivered cold and we had to send it back. They did remove it off the final bill but he didn't end up enjoying the experience because of that. We were also situated near the door so we ended up getting cold air everytime the door opened. The food itself was also pretty bland, nothing special. The best dish was probably the steak. I don't think I'd recommend this place for anyone visiting as there are many other restaurants in NY that would probably have better food.

Great food, buzzy atmosphere and attentive service. Prices weren't too bad for New York. Would recommend!

If you are looking for despicable service, look no further. The staff treat customers like table scraps. This restaurant is a joke. No wonder they are going out of business

If you want delicious Italian food or a great salad with the FRESHEST ingredients, Rosemarys is THE spot. With a rooftop garden for all their herbs and greens, you know you are getting the best quality in an airy and rustic atmosphere that still is polished and makes you want to come back each week. Fall salad with the squash and add shrimp. You’re welcome.

Service was poor. Our reservation was at 9: 15 we didn’t sit down until 10. We waited another 30 min for food to arrive. Food was overall very good, skip the olive oil cake. Disappointed in the service on my birthday.

Definitely a 5 star restaurant! Service & food were great. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean and big enough to have a good amount of space between tables. Apparently I was told that they grow their own herbs on the rooftop. It’s a wonderful place to dine- cozy, could be romantic or even family friendly. I absolutely love the place and will be back.

This place is a 10/10. Great food, wonderful service, awesome atmosphere. I came her f9r my wife's birthday lunch and everything from the focaccia to the spaghetti and pesto, and it was amazing. I don't order spaghetti in restaurants, but I'd order this again.

Everything I tried was flavorful and amazing.

They source some ingredients from their own rooftop garden, which is really pretty and you can go up and check it out.

I thought it was a good price for the quality of the food. Great service as well.

Looking at the reviews, went there to celebrate my birthday. Below average experience in both atmosphere and food. The service was good but considering the bad food didnt do much!
The table they gave us was badly placed and we couldn’t hear each other at the table. Requested to switch didn’t really happen! I am vegetarian and there are much better options available! I would not go here back again or recommend someone do!
If you are in west village there are way better place’s available.

Great food and atmosphere, service is slightly slow given it’s a packed house. Rosemary focaccia is fire

My visit here was truly amazing, our waitress Melisa was super helpful, very very high level of customer service! She was well aware of our needs and cautious about allergies, I truly enjoyed our brunch here because of her! So the venue is excellent! Burger was great! Melissa was awesome!

Great experience and service. Love the olive oil cake, the pasta and the potatoes. Drinks are nice too although there's no mint. Atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste but it was the west village on a busy night!
