Rosenzweig Lumber Corporation reviews
8Placed an order at one price and delivered at another price. Classic bate and switch. Not about the paying the additional cost more about business integrity and the principal of standing behind a quoted price. Not impressed. When I complained I was told 'nothing they can do'. Amazing that you would treat a customer that potentially could be spending thousands of dollars in the future and they wouldn't honor a quoted price. It's all about trust and integrity. Something that has been badly missed over the last few years. Truly sad.
I purchased their cedar for a fence and love it! So much better quality and size than any home improvement store.
I don't even want to give it a one star rating. Now granted the other people there may be as nice as they can be, but that lady who answered the phone is by far the rudest person ive ever talked to. I live in central Ky. But a lumber yard near me directed me to them. I was just simply wanting to email some pics of lumber I have and get an opinion on the species of it. The lady said sorry, can't help you and hung up the phone.seriously! Lady whoever you are I hope you don't treat all your customers that way!
When u get to Rosenzweig expect the best customer service everyone friendly helpful
And i love the material quality
This is pretty much the only game in town for hardwood lumber and the prices definitely reflect that. There's a pretty high minimum for deliveries and you definitely want to make sure you pick your own boards if you do. That being said, the crew can be very helpful here if you know what you want and what you're doing. They make no cuts.
A bit pricy but overall good selection of various wood.
I have edited my review due to an irritating salesman that made my last and final visit very unpleasant. In short they were being very difficult after I have bought thousands of dollars of wood from them in the past. I have given up on their bad attitude and will now use Tulnoy Lumber.
They were friendly and put up with questions. Being able to pick boards from the stack yourself is really nice. The prices and quality were the best I could find in the city.
Great selection here, I come from Brooklyn to buy most of my materials because their prices are on point and I don't know of anyone else in the NY Metro area who carries so many species.
The staff is a little rough around the edges but try not to take it personally if they seem rude, they are alright people. Go there a few times and learn the etiquette, you will be fine.
