I don’t usually eat halal but I went with a friend and that’s all I want to go eat now definitely worth it!

Falafel paired with veggies over lettuce was delicious! We also had the lamb and tikka masala over rice! One of if not the best halal carts in the city. We’ve tried a ton of halal carts too.

My 1st night in NY and I had to try the street food.

Good price for a plate of food. I am a huge chicken biriyani fan.
Good portions and fast service.
The food was done right!

Eh. I wasn’t that impressed. Chicken over rice was a little dry. I think the best cart in the city is on 58th and 9th.

Super tasty food. The cart owner is really friendly. For $15 me and my friend pretty much have such satisfying meals. Love the biryani and chicken Tikka over rice. Even kaati rolls are equally good.

This place has been famous for at least 10 years. 44th and 6 street on the south west corner.
It lives up to the hype.

I miss these guys. Used to go a couple of times a week for lunch when I worked nearby. Great guys - always knew exactly what I wanted when they saw me approach. Which was the spicy veggie biryani - to die for. You get a huge portion for your money.

I really hope they are surviving through the Covid exodus
