Royal Crown Bakery reviews
14Only giving one star because of the horrible miserable mean worker Kristin Caedes. She's extremely rude, has no brain and clue how to even work a normal job, and must be too distracted with working while having covid and abusing animals at home.
The sandwhiches were not melted for the steak and cheese and the bread was the size of my wiener small and unimpressed and to top it all off they upped there prices like a sports event sandwich definitely not worth it
Great options of Italian desserts and bread. You will find delicious cakes in various flavors. Bread and bakery products are definitely over the average.
My buddy at work put me onto the spot few months ago and I finally get to leave a review.
Biased to say anything about the staff because they always treat great us great especially after seeing us so many times.
My goto are normally the sandwiches which half alone fills me and are really good. I favor the Chicken Parm Hero, just saying. I like the combination of foods you can place together. Sheeesh if you wanted you can have a little bit of everything. Everyday there is always something different to try here and thats what I like most. OPTIONS!
Definitely my goto sandwich spot for on the go when I’m working in the island.
I feel the need to write a review. The food at Royal Crown is delicious, but I haven’t gone in years Bc the last time I was there I got a hair in my salad and when I told the manager he acted like it happens all the time, which is concerning. I decided to give it another shot years later. We were eating and saw a hair BAKED INTO THE PIZZA CRUST. After waiting years to return due to a hair incident, it happened YET AGAIN. Just goes to show this obviously was not an isolated incident and probably happens often. Royal Crown should really strictly enforce a hairnet policy or something Bc that’s disgusting and unsanitary. Makes me sad Bc the food is great but I can’t trust them with sanitation to go there ever again.
Re/Max Edge Realty (Team Mucci) Of Staten Island had its Grand Opening this pass July 2020. RC went above and beyond to deliver all the necessary food and desserts that were needed and was very prompt in getting it done. Very successful Grand Opening as we had close to 700 people/agents come thru. RC again went above and beyond again as We lost of our GrandFather Nonno, it was a last minute situation and again they got it again. Sorry for the late review. They are the best in every category when it comes To the Best Freshest food on Staten Italy ;)
Food is fantastic however service -unsettling. We understand your busy but the servers will ruin your day with the attitudes served on the side of your meal. Even ordering for pick up, in a rush for you to spit your order out and always comes with a mistake. Disappointing but atleast the food is good.
I used to live around the corner from here but now live 75 miles away. I try and stop whenever I have to go back to SI. Best bread and cookies anywhere!
I have never written a review before, but this one is a must. Be careful! I found Maggots in my cookies! Never coming here again.
A good place to have Italian type sandwiches and coffee. Plus baked goods. Reasonable prices. There's parking space by it.
If I could rate it 0, I did. The desserts that I bought weren’t good. Croutons with nuts smelled of wasted bread. The cheesecake wasn’t like the original. The employees were okay, but the owner was rude, without any reason, and acted up. Don't go there if you want to lose your mood and be dissatisfied. The owner doesn’t really care about customers.
We have our own business with customers service, but we never talk so rudely with clients.
If there was a no star review, I would have gave it. They had the gut to put burned food in a container and sell it to people. I picked up Potato croquettes on my lunch break only to come back at work with burned Soggy food. I called them and the answer I got “we are sorry”. Unbelievable!
Reasonably priced with good food and service. In addition to the dine in menu of Italian sandwiches, pizza and salads they also have a fantastic selection of top notch breads, cookies and pastries. Definitely worth a visit when in Staten Island.
My go to place for the best bread. I forget the name. I just know it is against the wall, top shelf, on the right. I love that they give the option to slice the bread which makes it so much easier. The stuffed bread is also a favorite especially during the holidays.
