Royal Green Appliance, White Plains NY

As our appliances were getting pretty old, I did a lot of research and I bought a new stove and refrigerator from salesperson Kim at Royal Green/Mr. Jay Appliances. The next day my over-the-range microwave broke. I did some more research and picked out a new one and Kim was able to get it for me before the big box stores had it in stock. Both times the deliverer and installer was Louie from Eagle Installers. He is a very pleasant guy and he brings an assistant and we felt very comfortable having them in our apartment. Royal Green has the ability to let you know via a chatbot a time frame for the delivery and then it lets you know or you get a call to tell you they are on their way. It works out really well so you can be prepared. They also graciously wore masks which we provided because we are somewhat vulnerable and we appreciated their willingness to protect us, although I wonder if it is still necessary. Never-the-less. Anyway, whenever my mother used to need a new appliance, she would check out what was available at the big box stores of the time and then she would go see her "guy" at a small discount warehouse in Flushing and order it from him. I guess I'm like my mom, only I have the internet and can "travel" to any store I want. But when it is time to order, I call Mr. Jays.

Excellent service from the minute I walked into the store through delivery and installation. I cannot recommend Royal Green highly enough.

Unless you know for a fact that after you purchased a product from Royal Green Appliances you won’t have any issues with it (which, of course, you can’t…) – I would recommend you to stay away from this company and purchase your product elsewhere.
Don’t be fooled by the seamless and efficient purchasing process (and it is – hence why 2 stars and not 1), and by the knowledge and expertise of the team members. Because if my experience is the norm at Royal Green Appliances, then they will do little-to-none to rectify any problems after the purchase is complete.

We needed to replace our Sub-Zero Fridge with a new model. We presented Royal Green with the model number, information about the fridge, photos of the fridge and the wood panels covering it, etc, and then placed the order with them. When the fridge was installed, it turned out that the handles (to open and close the fridge) that were ordered were the wrong ones and new handles needed to be ordered. The new handles were to arrive a week later, and, as such, for a whole week we needed to literally ‘struggle’ with the fridge every time we needed to open it; either bend all the way down and pull the door from the very bottom, or stand on a stepping stool to pull the door open from the top (my wife and I are short, what can I tell you!). This is more than a small nuisance; the weekend in between the installation and the arrival of the new handles we were planned to host a party at our house and needed constant and frequent use of the fridge, so you can imagine that struggling with the fridge 100 times a day is not ideal…

I called Royal Green and described the issue. The sales rep referred me to Jeff, one of the managers. I spoke to Jeff and explained the issue to him as well.
I said that this fridge was a major investment for us (it cost about $14K…) and that, for that amount of money I would have expected more due-diligence on the handle types, etc.
At first, Jeff tried to completely disown the problem, staying that it’s not their fault that the wrong handles were ordered (is it mine?), despite us providing his team all the info that I stated above, at the time of the purchase. He went on to dismiss the whole thing as being a problem because, according to Jeff, I have a working fridge and that’s what matters. He said he was sorry that we are in this situation. I asked if there’s anything more that could be done above and beyond being sorry, to which he abruptly replied: “not going to happen”.

Royal Green found the appliances I was looking for and the installation by Eagle One with Louie and Benny was far beyond my expectations! Mine was not an easy install but they made it look easy.

We've had really great experiences with Royal Green Appliance - they have a great inventory of appliances - they were able to find a Bosch dishwasher that no one else had in stock and their prices are extremely competitive. Their salespeople and delivery people are fabulous to deal with. Super helpful and very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Just had my GE Cafe wall oven/microwave delivered by Royal Green and installed by Rocco. I had a positive experience from start to finish. The installation was professional and very well done. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and knowledgeable and were communicating with me throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend.

Royal green is the place to go for all of your appliances. The prices are great and the sales people are knowledgeable about the products. An added bonus is that they actually deliver when they say they’re going to deliver. It is a pleasure to deal with them

Awesome! My microwave broke 3 days ago. Yesterday the new one was installed professionally. Good prices and quick service! They also hauled the garbage, cleaned and removed the old unit. Highly recommend!

The salesman Dan at royal green was very helpful and friendly. He entertained all of our questions. The delivery went smoothly and came within the delivery window. The delivery personnel were courteous and neat. They were very quick and professional.
