Ruki Auto Driving School, Bronx NY

I’ve been taking classes here for a while now, they are really great! I wanted to give a review for Marilyn or Madeline I forgot to ask her name but she worked this morning and she was absolutely amazing! I was panicking because I didn’t have a car rental and they had told me no last time but when I asked her today she didn’t understand why they told me no and she helped me get the rental! It was such a relief, she was completely understanding and sweet the entire time ️

I had a great experience with Ruki Auto Driving School. My instructor was TJ. I purchased the 10 lesson package along with 2 60minute lesson packages. I was not consistent initially with my lessons and each time TJ was patient and gave me direction when needed.

Pro's of TJ was that he wasn't too hands on. He allowed you to take control of the car and when needed will intervene but allowed me to make mistakes and learn. TJ was also very personable and easy to reach/ communicate with. TJ was very encouraging and gave me confidence I didn't even have in myself.

Cons of TJ: TJ is soooo popular be prepared to book your lessons at least 2 weeks in advance.

Overall Ruki was amazing. I often called and spoke with Denise the receptionist and she is too sweet and patient. She's always going beyond to help me book lessons and appointments. The manager Leo is also a sweetheart. He was very encouraging on the day of my road test and eased my mind. His confidence and support plus the additional help from the staff at Ruki is why today *well May 13* I am officially a licensed up!

Though prices for lessons are kind of expensive, the instructors are amazing. I recommend Denise, she is very very friendly and sometimes you forget you're driving with an instructor rather than a friend. I also recommend Tj who helps you become more comfortable behind the wheel. I also had Mr. Frank and Jose who were both great. Mr. Frank is a really great instructor and is also very friendly. Mr Frank is very knowledgeable when it comes to driving and with him I was able to get parallel parking. On my fourth test, that was the only time I could parallel park PERFECTLY. I only got 5 pts off for using "excessive maneuvers" when on my last tests, i usually parked too far from the curb. Mr. Frank also helped me get over my fear of failure and reassured me that I'm a good driver. I highly recommend you stack your lessons consecutively (one every day) if you can especially if you have no one else to teach you at home. This helped me pass my road test with only 15 points off in comparison to 40 or 60 points the last 2 times. There really is no difference between the hour lesson and the 45 minute lesson, they all feel the same. Keep that in mind. I scheduled my road test in Strang Ave 3 times and it is a relatively easy area, just be sure to do over the shoulder checks for literally everything and you'll do fine! I also recommend Strang over Yonkers. Thanks Ruki Auto Driving School.

Ruki is the BESTTTTT DRIVING SCHOOL. From being nervousss to actually wanting to be on the road. I passeddd my test definitely the best driving school.

I had a great experience with Ruki Auto Driving School! The office was very good about setting up my driving lessons and my road test around my work schedule within my desired timeframe, and the staff answered all of my questions thoroughly. My instructor was Mr. Frank, who was really patient and knowledgeable, and I passed my road test thanks to him! I found Ruki Auto Driving School after a bad experience at a different driving school in the city, and I’m so glad I did! I’d recommend Ruki Auto Driving School (and Mr. Frank specifically) to anyone!

I appreciate this driving school to the fullest. This was my third and last driving school I attended and I love how comforting and accommodating the whole process was. I did pass my road test because of this driving school and I appreciate the help from instructors Mr. Frank and Denise! They were helpful with my parallel parking and confidence to pass my road test. The receptionist was also comforting and very helpful throughout the process. Also, the way they handle their appointments was very convenient because not only do they email you but, they text you too for upcoming appointments. Pretty dope driving school!

Thank you Ruki Auto Driving School! Took my road test on January 4,2021 and I passed! Great way to start off the new year:) I am extremely grateful to this school. Denise was so nice and patient when scheduling my lessons! I took lessons with Mr. Frank and lessons with T. J when it got closer to my road test date, BIG shout out to them for teaching me everything. I was nervous but they made me feel comfortable and was patient with me. Again, thank you soooo much! This is the school to go to if you want to pass your road test!

Don't walk run to this school. This school is truly the real deal and amazing. They want you to pass and become a good driver. I've been to two other driving schools before coming to Ruki. I failed my road test twice. I was frustrated and gave up learning how to drive. It wasn't until I found Ruki driving school that I found motivation again. TJ and Frank are both amazing instructors. They're kind, patience, and teach you step by step. They make learning how to drive fun. They break it down for you all the way. Within the first 30 seconds of my first lesson, I was told what was wrong with my driving and why I kept failing. I was amazed. Within a few lessons I was already feeling confident enough to drive and my mistakes were fixed. When I took my road test for the third time, I didn't feel nervous because TJ and Frank prepared me so well. I passed with a perfect score. Thanks Ruki, TJ, and Frank. All of you are amazing. I'll give this school 10 stars if I could. This is the best driving school in NYC. Come here if you want to pass your road test and become a good driver.

Great school! Friendly staff! Wonderful and knowledgeable instructors! They worked with my schedule and I was able to pass my road test on the first try with only five lessons! Would most definitely highly recommend Ruki Driving School to anyone! Thank you Ruki for helping me get my license!

Great instructors, absolutely amazing. Had two different instructors and at first I was a bit apprehensive, about the different teaching style, but there was no hiccups whatever, both led to the perfect outcome.

I am going to give five stars from what I'm reading sounds good to me. I have my driver's license, but I need some driving lessons to get experience. I got my license back in 1997 but I never got a car so I am looking to get experience at driving and to become a safe driver. I need to do this now because both of my kids are grown and moving to PA soon. I need to drive down there once in a while to visit. Can someone there please help me overcome this fear. Thank you.

I definitely recommend Ruki driving school, if you’re a nervous driver like myself then this is the driving school for you. The entire team at Ruki’s is very helpful. They provided an excellent service and an awesome instructor “Sam” who guided me in every turn, signal and stop sign. Sam is very patient, experienced, kind.the list goes on.
Thanks to Sam I passed my driving test.
