Only thing I didn’t like, was that I found out I need more stability in my shoes; Luckily Ashley was able to help me remedy this with the right shoes.

Was told about this place from a friend who lives on Long island (I live in Brooklyn). Have recent issues with my left foot and now wearing custom orthotics. Had been to several stores for new sneakers but nothing felt like the “right fit”. Had to wait on a long line to get into store, but once I was being helped by young Ashley, I couldn’t have asked for better service.she was very knowledgeable, not pushy and made sure I was truly comfortable in my new sneakers- in fact, I bought 2 pairs! Would definitely return to the store and recommend, especially if you want to be fitted properly and are willing to take the ride).

Had the most pleasant experience at this store today. The staff member who helped us was a true gentleman - he was so kind and knowledgeable. (I wish I'd asked for his name!) We left the store feeling confident with our purchase. You won't get this quality of customer service online. Look forward to coming here again.

Everyone at Runner’s Edge were SUPER kind and helpful! Drove 45mins from Queens to get new running shoes for my little brother who is starting up hs spring track. Went this afternoon. Decent selection of running shoes. The woman who helped me (I didn't get her name) did a great job in answering questions I had. Was not pressured into buying one particular pair. All in all - it was a great experience.

This place is amazing! They have a great selection of running shoes and gear and the customer service is fantastic! I will definitely be back in six months for my next pair of shoes!

I ordered two pairs of orthotics for myself and my husband that I could not find anywhere else. I was concerned about online ordering from a company I was not familiar with. They came sooner than expected. Great service, great product. I will definitely order them again from Runners Edge NY.

I visited runners edge today and I see now why the store has a 5 star rating. The store employees provide excellent customer service! I drove and hour to visit this store from Brooklyn and it was worth the commute. The employees at this store are very educated and listen to the customer and give great feedback. I had the opportunity to try on multiple pairs of running shoes and learned a lot in the process. I appreciate the patience the employee I worked with gave me. I never felt rushed and I felt like I left the store with the great pair of shoes for me! I will definitely be back!

My long time podiatrist suggested I buy HOKA sneakers. I’d never heard of them. I have had surgery on both feet and continue to have issues where I’m looking at possible further surgery on them. I called and went in to take a look at these shoes I’ve never known of.
I asked my fellow Hofstra guy, Tyler, for direction. He was accommodating and told me why my Dr.suggested them. I bought my first pair there & will continue to buy my sneakers there going forward!

I came to Farmingdale because of the Runners Edge and i haven't left. Wonderful service, great selection. I'm not a kid but still run regularly and i needed a little help finding the right shoe for my aching old knees and feet. The best customer service from the most knowledgeable staff. I drove 20 minutes to get here and it was well worth it because there is no other place like this on the island.

Really knowledgeable staff! The young man who helped me took the time to understand what kind of running shoe I was looking for and what my concerns were. Together we found one that was just right for me. I'd highly recommend this place for serious runners and novices like me.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff; fit me for new sneakers for doing HIIT at Orange Theory Fitness- combination of treadmill, rower and weights and- NO, you DO NOT have to be a runner (I am most definitely NOT a runner) to benefit from their expertise!

The staff is very knowledgeable and super patient. As soon as I walked through the door, I explained my problems and was quickly assisted. I haven't had any knee/ body pain since I was fitted for the perfect pair of shoes for my walking/ running type here!

This is the only place I buy running shoes from. Everybody knows what they are talking about. The prices aren't too bad either. If you are a beginner and are not sure about what running shoes you need just tell them. They will make you walk to see how you step. They will check the shape of your foot and bring out a couple of different options. If you don't like anything they brought out, they do not pressure you to buy anything. They do give a police and military discount also.
