You’ll need crampons for the snow/ice. Lots of people had to turn back because they couldn’t get any grip on the trail, VERY popular spot for a reason.

The red trail is light and the white trail is a bit tough and has some steep parts both super enjoyable

My friends and I typically prefer more secluded trails, so it was a bit disheartening to see so much foot traffic near the main road. But I'm happy to report that this place has plenty of trails that fork off and are a bit more rugged. A half hour in and we noticed far fewer people. The trail we were on got difficult to follow though, since they're not very well marked. Still a good hike!
