Russian Vodka Room, New York NY

It's funny that the first time I was brought here by a friend from Russia. I didn't even know about this place. To be honest, I am far from Russian cuisine and vodka, but after this place vodka is my favorite drink.

Great spot for a late night drink. Drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Not too loud or crowded.

We were here tonight after a crazy exhausting day and must to say that Anjelika bartender girl made our day! She’s so lovely and smiley and her energy just so light and wholesome. We will definitely be back again thank you so much Anjelika

I had a great experience in Russian vodka room. The bartender was super nice and patient with us (we couldn’t figure out what we wanted to eat)
I like their duck spread (pastet) and home fries with mushrooms are the best

My boyfriend took me to this wonderful establishment when I was in NYC to celebrate my birthday. Everything was fabulous. This is one of my new favorite places. We had several appetizers, drinks, and I enjoyed the beef stroganoff as my main course. Very kind staff. The musicians were also kind enough to sing happy birthday as they brought out a delicious piece a cake. I will certainly return when I am back in town:) A+ rating.

Everything was delicious! We came for a drink and stayed for dinner. Chocolate martini and horseradish vodka to start, followed by lamb dumplings, tongue stew for him and beef stroganoff for me. So much better than the burger we were planning to get!

I live in the neighborhood and I’ve been here twice. The first time I visited, the bartender completely forgot to put in my dumpling order. The second time, I was charged for 8 drinks when I ordered 5. Avoid.

This place is amazing and everyone that works there is so sweet and friendly! Can’t wait to come back my next visit to NY!

The best bar in Manhattan. The drinks are so worth it! Probably some of the strongest I’ve had ever. They really make it strong, you get your moneys worth here. Beware - A single Martini here will get you tipsy

Despite being a super busy pre-Valentine’s day, we were able to get our drinks & food in a timely manner. We even received extra vodka shots for our wait. Everything was so wonderful!

I'm here for the first time and it's terrible. Alcohol has an unpleasant odor and food tastes like vinegar. The waiters are lazy.

I've visited the Russian Vodka Room about 10 times at this point and continue to be blown away by the level of customer service - i always feel welcome. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive to my needs. The food is authentic, drinks were strong and expertly made, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The other customers were also friendly and added to the overall great experience. Oh yes, plus there's live music every now and then! I highly recommend checking out the Russian Vodka Room for a night out in NYC. Beware, the drinks will hit you!

Great place for drinks with friends/family. My friends used to heavily frequent this spot while they worked in the vicinity some years ago. I was introduced to it by them. The bartenders are welcoming and the entertainment/singers is always an added bonus. I even find that the other patrons to be quite pleasant at times.

January 2nd, 2023

It's disorganized to have one person running the bar, the bussing, and the food distribution. In the three hours my boyfriend and I sat there we waited 30 minutes for a martini and a beer (served in a bottle). Then we waited another hour to order more drinks. We got the ginger shot and garlic pepper and dill shot. While the shots were interesting, I wouldn't wait 45 minutes for them again. We waited and watched as the bartender/ waitress chatted with other patrons for 20 minutes.

The kicker wasn't even the wait on the drinks. The true kicker was that my boyfriend ordered the beef dumplings when we ordered the shots and after an hour and a half we still had no dumplings. We ended up getting the check (without the dumplings) but we were left with the feeling that they took our order and never delivered the order to the kitchen. This was a bummer because we came to this establishment for the dumplings he craved and we left without having had them.won't be spending more money here if I can help

So my boyfriend begged me to give this please a second chance. He speaks Russian and wanted to practice his Russian so I gave it a go. One more time because second chances are a thing.

It was awful. Terrible experience. Like we both left agreeing to never come here again. We say that as neighbors. We live a block away. It's hard to feel so negative about a place so close by.
The reason: it took forever for them to open two beers and at the end of the night they attempted to charge us for two things we didn't order.

Being the strong New York woman I am, I told them of mistakes and they fixed it but in my eyes mistakes like that shouldn't be made on well-seasoned New Yorkers. Especially neighbors of theirs. They will not be getting business for us or our friends and family.
