I just wish the people who wait on me were more personable instead of treating me like an inconvenience.

Russo's sandwich quality has dropped over the recent years, while their prices have increased. I paid over $16 for a caprese sandwich that had a few pieces of mozzarella in it. I won't be going back again because it's just not worth it—there are many other local shops that offer a significantly better sandwich at a much lower price.

I’ve had multiple sandwiches and take home to cook pasta from both this location and the one on 5th. They never miss. Prices, customer service, quality of meats and cheeses…everything is top tier here. No seating options so just be prepared to take your sandwich to go!

Delicious fresh Caprese salad, mix olives, hot salami and Italian cheese cake! They have great things there?

First rate food and service. A real go to place for me. Unfortunately, like many local businesses, they have raised their prices.

Best sausages of all kinds and smoked mozzarella around. I love the chicken cutlets. Get some vegetables and De Cecco brand pasta and you have a feast! Really expensive but so worth it for one hell of a treat!

I can only speak for their sandwiches and paninis, but I'm a big fan. The portions are large (I find one sandwich is enough for 2 adults) at reasonable prices with good ingredients. Also they don't skimp on the prosciutto!

With a huge assortment of fresh pastas, antipasto bar, massive sandwiches, and 3 cold cases of cheese, it's hard to find a reason to not make Russo's a stop when you're in the area.

Obsessed with this place and the one on 5th Avenue. I always have at least 2-3 fresh frozen pastas and sauces on hand at any time. Favs: bucatini with puttanesca sauce, lobster ravioli with vodka sauce, porcini agnolotti with anything, and squid ink linguini with clam sauce. Their anchovies from the fresh bar are also to die for. We put them on pizzas and kale salad. Their sandwiches are huge and also the best. We always get #12 and #4.

I love the sandwiches here, but be warned that they're pretty big, so you may want to split one between two people or save half for later. The fresh pasta and sauces are also great for an easy weeknight dinner when you don't feel like takout or cooking from scratch.

Bought an Italian sausage sandwich and it tasted like Old El Paso Taco seasoning. I'm not sure what other items may taste like here but if you're looking for a good NY Italian Sausage sandwich, this is not the right place.

Great food, but the counter clerk didn't properly wrap the food properly, resulting in leaking all over bag.

Excellent pastas, fresh mozzarella, deli items-a neighborhood mainstay for decades, and justifiably so.

Delicious prepared foods, you have to try the roasted artichoke hearts! Great pasta & ravioli selection.

Authentic italian made products and great ready made pastas. If not looking for groceries stop by for a good panini

Great spot to pick up Italian food. Great sandwiches and delicious cold salads, olives, shrimp salad, grilled octopus, stuffed peppers, etc. Good selection of cheeses an fresh made pasta.

Good traditional Italian sandwiches and pasta. Pre made or you can buy pasta to make at home. I usually get a hero. The prices are fair and they taste great. Food is very fresh whenever I went. If u need to have a fulfilling meal. This place will do the job.

The roasted artichokes are one of my favorite foods, period. Had a great meatball sandwich, and those Italian coffee sodas are great. This place is my go to for lunch when I’m in the south slope.
