Rust Belt Barbering & Salon Co, Buffalo NY

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Rust Belt Barbering. Making an appointment was easy and convenient online. Everyone was very friendly, no attitude whatsoever. Zak gave me a great cut because he's not only talented, he asked me questions about my hair before starting and actually listened to me. Highly recommended.

Rust belt is my go-to barber, they always do an excellent job there and booking appointments online is super easy.

I was just in Buffalo and stopped by Rust Belt after making an appointment. I have to say this may be the best haircut I've ever had and my barber (Brian) was one of the most down to earth barbers I've ever had. He gave me some good pointers on maintaining my cut and gave me a ton of great recommendations for my trip to Buffalo. I would 1,000,000% recommend this place if you want to look and feel great!

Went there for a couple of years. Good experience overall. Then came in one day 5 minutes late, and the barber was noticeably upset, was extremely rude to me, ended up not giving me a haircut because I didn't know what 'number' I use on the buzzer. The barber (Brian?) is always playing wrestling highlight videos when I was there in the past and I do not think he is really emotionally stable. I would avoid.

Management got back to me quickly regarding this but never followed up. Seemed nice but not serious business owners.

Seems more of a salon for the high maintenance types then a barber shop.

Edit: I don't think I can respond back to the owners comment? So I will add a response here. Management got back to apologize, said they would follow-up but never did. Ryan, my normal barber never reached out. I was 7 minutes late, not 10. These are the facts, nothing is being twisted.

Rust Belt is great. I have been getting my hair cut by Ryan for over two years. He’s great at his job and each trip into the shop is a good time.

I was looking for a new barber and stumbled across Rust Belt. I've been twice now and plan on staying as a client. Good spot, clean, good atmosphere, and they cut good hair.

1st time here and was pleased with my haircut. Very minimal wait pleasant barbershop feel especially if you're a Yankees fan.

Great experience and had a good haircut. Since it was my first time, some more questions about the cut would have been appreciated. Good place, finding a parking spot maybe challenging

This place is great. Admittedly I only ever have sat with Meghan, but I accept no substitute now. A true pleasure. If everyone else is like her then I can't suggest it enough.

Barber (Ryan Kuehlewind) was unprofessional when I asked him to further cut my hair in the back to make it lay better. He said “I don’t have time for this” he didn’t like that I was asking him to spend extra two mins to fix it while his next appointment was there. He was rude and unprofessional. This was my first (and last) time going there. If you choose to go to this place, then schedule an appointment with another barber who might be more professional and patient.

This was my first time getting a haircut here. Ryan did an excellent job. Not only was he professional he was welcoming & friendly. He treated me more like a friend than a customer & made me feel my business was important to him. I highly recommend this place to anyone & I highly recommend Ryan to anyone. Ryan will continue to get my business.

Clean, friendly and courteous. Megan's profile has a pitbull for her picture. That's why I chose her. Did not regret the decision.

My son and I get our haircuts with Michael each month. Great guy who takes pride in his work, highly recommended!

The staff is super friendly, the haircuts are always super fresh, AND they're very meticulous about being safe with every customer during Covid.

I was in from out of town and did some research to find a spot for a well needed haircut. After reading reviews on several spots I booked a time with Ryan. They did a great job keeping everyone separate and safe during Covid and with conversation and a photo of myself with the haircut I wanted I walked out extremely satisfied with one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten.

If and when I am back in town I will certainly be returning!
