Safari Playhouse Fun Learning Center reviews
15When the Playhouse first opened it was nice and clean. Unfortunately as time progressed it’s now dirty and unkept. Everything needs to be cleaned and sanitized. The balls from inside of the ball pits are sticky and smashed. Above the jungle gym the owners are storing huge black garbage bags. During the summer months it’s HOT! No Air Conditioning, no fan. Its a combined space towards the left is for infants to age 4/5. Towards the right the space is for 5-8 or whatever is the age cap. No supervision or anyone enforcing this. The children run at full speed back and forth, they run towards where the infants are no safety measures are in place. The concept of this playhouse is nice, again its not clean at all and it gets overcrowded at times.
Safari playhouse is near my house so we used to come a lot, when they first opened it was clean, they had rules. I came today it was absolutely despicable. Dirty floor filled with various snacks kids were eating (despite that their rules say no eating inside) nobody seemed like they cared. Sick children one kid visibly runny nose, coughing they shouldn’t be allowed. It’s the parents responsibility however additionally no play place should allow a visibly sick child to come and play.
It was crazy humid smelled like germ central. This play place has significantly declined.
My wife brought our autistic son there and was discriminated because our son is extremely sensitive to wearing socks and they made no exception despite that he is autistic and at first we were understanding of it but after seeing the lack of sanitary of the place as observe by other parents, we feel completely discriminated by how they treated my wife and son during their only stay there. I would completely BOYCOTT this place!
Such a great space for my little one! It was clean, super spacious, lots to do. Perfect for her to run off some energy. And so inexpensive! We’ll be back again soon.
Great having this local place for soft play. Please make sure you’re refreshing the toys, because this is the shop play area today.
I love this indoor playground, we are visiting often with my 3 years old doughter. Small area with everything we need. Cool
Is a nice place for kids but the only think I didn’t like was adults using the kids bicycle and no one say nothing, it’s for kids that’s different plus they should have a person to wipe the toys clean around and watch the kids to not run have limit for people to enter the place is small they shouldn’t let that many kids in together not safe
Had my daughter's 1st birthday party here and it was amazing. The staff was super helpful in assisting us with setting up, it was very clean and organized, and most importantly the children HAD SO MUCH FUNNN!
Very small place with an unclean odor in the play tunnel tubes. No friendly staff here so don’t expect a welcome!
The entrance is impossible to find because it’s on a shady unmarked alleyway entrance on a side street, different than what is advertised.
I witnessed a staff member pulling a 2 year old out of the play area against their will because they were playing without wearing socks and the child was crying for their mother. They didn’t ask the parent to remove the child, instead they just grabbed the child’s arm and pulled aggressively.
All that aside, it just isn’t a warm and welcoming place I’d expect from a family place. It is small, overcrowded, and the only bathroom is an elevator trip away not even on the same level.
P. S. I’m sure I will see a response from the owner trying to appear professional so that other readers may think they’re a professional establishment. May I point out that they are not. And I’m sure I will get a kick out of seeing a pre-scripted perfect grammar response, when I don’t even think any of the staff can speak much English.
I’d say this is a no go!
We loved bringing out kids here. Then we were told that it was closing down permanently. We were so sad to hear that. I called just now.and sound like it was never closed down. I'm so confused. But I'm glad to see it's open.
I went around 2: 30pm and it was super packed with kids and parents. I will try again in the morning. I prefer the Bay Parkway location better but it is unfortunately closed down. Majority of the photos are from Bay Parkway location, not this location. The entrance for this location is on 65th street, the 2nd floor.
Maybe you can start think about open at 9 am? 1-2 days in week? For more mothers will be better, cause babies must go to sleep at lunch and if youre live little far, its problem stay 2 hours. So we must stay only 1 hour.
Hurray, they have finally opened, congratulations guys on the new place, I’m very glad that you found a new and better place than the old one.
Everything is done very clean, neatly and competently, so that the mother does not run after the child and your child is always in sight, there is a creativity table where children can work with paper and glue, and what’s great is that 2 girls help with this. It is located on the 2nd floor and you can take the elevator, if the stroller is large and does not fit, you can leave it downstairs. EVERYTHING IS DONE SMARTLY. THANK YOU. We know exactly where to go all the time.
New indoor playground for 8 year old and under. A special toddler area just for 3 and under, so they can play safe without get bump and hit by older kids. Super clean and safe for kids to enjoy. And they also have a mini town for kids to play pretending different roles of society.
Took my 2 year old here and she loved it, super safe and fun for the little ones! Remember to bring socks but they do have them for purchase if you forget. Loved it
