Sal, Kris & Charlie's Deli reviews
16The best NY Deli ever! Been my go to place for well over 35yrs. COMBO'S and BOMB'S forever!
The best hero I’ve ever had in NYC hands down. It’s a trek to get to if you’re not a local, but it is worth the trip. We got their signature sandwich “The Bomb” and it was everything other reviewers said it was.
Get them to slice it in quarters; it’s enough to share with multiple people. 5 well-deserved stars!
I call in a sandwich so i can just grab and go and proceed to be told i have to wait in the long line by 1 employee and get completely ignored by another.
Whats the sense in calling in a sandwich if i still have to wait in line?
3 decades of amazing sandwiches for me. This is "where every day is a holiday". Always feel the family love here.
If you find yourself complaining about the size and quality of ingredients wherever you get your sandwiches, you owe it to yourself to try this place. Widely known for the enormity of their heros and filled with the good stuff.
The place is usually busy but a bunch of (very friendly) guys behind the counter so things move pretty quickly. Sandwiches aren't cheap (around $12 to $15) but they're twice the size of a lot of other places. Parking can be pretty difficult and only made worse by "Open Streets" gaslighting program. If you can manage that you'll be in for a great experience.
Top notch Sandwich shop, fresh cuts of meat, delicious cheese selections, fresh veggies and good attitudes. Definitely recommend this place for HUGE subs.perfect sandwiches for trips, gatherings, picnics even beach days
Best spot in NYC for a proper hero, Hoagie, sammy or whatever you like to call it! “The Bomb” fully is a must!
Visited this great establishment a few years ago while touring Astoria. My goodness. Best bang for the buck. I’d highly recommend this place for any sandwich lovers. Can’t wait to come back and get a pastrami.
This place is an absolute must whether you are a local or just around for a day. Their old-school Italian sub shop feel is exactly what you want it to be. If you are getting The Bomb, either bring a friend or plan on having it for at least your next two meals.
Fantastic, this place is awesome, delicious, and the hospitality is just great. Try it you won't regret it.
You want a sandwich that can feed 4 regular people?
You want a sandwich that you. An eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?
You want a hero that can double as an improvised weapon?
Go to SK&C and order "The Bomb" its essentially an American style hero AND an Italian style hero on one sandwich. Sandwich isn't really an accurate term. This thing is as long as my hand and forearm. High quality cold cuts, put together very well, fresh bread and super friendly counter people. Love the peppers they use, and don't forget to tip the counter guys!
Shouldn’t have to make me wait on a line behind 15 people for a called in pickup order. What’s the point of calling in then?
A delicious sandwich and you get what you pay for because this sandwich should be shared it's so heavy on cold cuts.
Been so happy moving into the area to be closer to this place. I love their sandwiches, never disappoints and bang for your buck
I've been an occasional customer for over a decade. This place has not changed always has been quick with upmost quality care & service
The Bomb is massive and straight up delicious. It's difficult to eat it in one seating, but that's great. Savor that goodness. The combo of meats and veggies are
