Salesforce Tower reviews
7Beautiful building across from Bryant Park! On a sunny day it's especially good to take pics here. Also - in pics sometimes it looks blue but in person it actually looks green.
Until recently, I had gone by this edifice and not seen it to its full extent. An amazing piece of architecture covered in glass panes to let the light enter freely. The building houses apartment/condominiums as well as private businesses. Which I got the chance to take pictures from atop it.
It's hard to avoid Salesforce today. They have grown so big. I have really enjoyed working with their team, but they can be slow to respond when you are a small company. They seem to go after larger enterprises with more interest.
My lower rating is due to their pricing strategy, which I was not aware of when I signed a 1 year agreement and had to pay in advance. I needed to connect Salesforce to their Pardot product (their own product). This required me to have to upgrade my Salesforce license from $75 per user to $300 per user. I was not told this when I first signed up even though I explained what I was trying to accomplish. Hey, they closed a deal, but this is very shady. I am still angry, and I am not an advocate now.
On top of that, I was also forced to upgrade EVERY Salesforce user to the $300 per month level just to connect to THEIR OWN product, Pardot.
I would advise other businesses to look at alternatives. This kind of gotcha salesmanship is sad and turns potential advocates into angry disgruntled users.
A Reuben is an optimal commute to work: the subway arrives exactly when you do and you stop at zero lights (no detours allowed).
A Napoleon is the opposite (wait for every train and every light).
If you're good you can get ~5 Reubens to the Napoleon. The former means you'll have a good day, but the latter means you'll have a bad month.
Stay focused out there
Salesforce is bringing the technology industry from the West Coast to New York City. The leader in CRM software is taking the top several floors in what will now be known as Salesforce Tower right on Bryant Park. Great office Space, amazing views and an incredible company.
Great Salesforce HQ with amazing views of Bryant Park and NYC. Security is fierce, and you cannot get in without an appointment. Even once in, using your badge to operate the elevator takes a little guesswork and voodoo.
