Easy to get an appointment, very warm friendly atmosphere and they do a great job. Almira is my hairdresser and she is the best!

I'm always nervous about getting a haircut aince a lot of salons do not know how to cut curly hair and I’m so glad I took a chance with this salon. Luba was amazing. I told her how I wanted my hair cut I also showed her pictures and she added some suggestion which was so welcomed. She was kind, gentle and compassionate as I told her of my thinning hair. She gave me encouragement and advice. I love my short haircut and this hair stylist. I look forward to my 3 month shape up!

It was my first time getting highlights and I was really scared of getting the wrong color, I just wanted something subtle, and Luba listened to what I had in mind and I'm very happy with the results.

I have been seeing Almira for great haircuts and perfect hair color for years and have been meaning to let others know. Yesterday I went in and she did a great touch up for gray coverage and also fixed the “panic” bangs I made after my dog scratched my forehead. Prices at the salon are definitely less than the city or other nearby places per polling my friends. See Almira, you won’t be disappointed!

Luba is amazing! Just moved to Brooklyn and was nervous to get my hair colored at a salon outside of my normal one but I was so happy with my experience. The color was perfect and Luba even checked in on me to see if I like the color a few days later. Can’t recommend enough!

After 16 months of no color or cut, Almira at Salon de Larue executed nothing less than magic! Almira created a custom base color and balayage that I couldn't love more, and the long-layered cut was exactly what I was hoping for. She is spectacular at what she does. Cannot recommend Almira highly enough!

I wanted to try a new salon and many people recommend Luba, she did not disappoint. The salon is in a small space but it wasn't crowded, got a lovely head massage while getting hair washed. Luba cut my hair perfectly, that even after washing it and styling it myself it still looked great. My hair is below shoulder length, wavy/frizzy/color treated. Services received: Olaplex treatment, cut, blow out.

Luba at Salon De La Rue is fantastic! I am new to Park Slope and found out about this place through Facebook. I hadn't gotten a haircut since before the pandemic and my roots were very grown out and the ends were incredibly dead. I sent an appt request online and Luba called me back quickly to discuss what I wanted done. She did a great job cutting, styling, and giving me a fantastic blonde ombre look. The salon itself was very clean and charming. It was also nice to see that all the stylists had completed Covid-safety training.
