So happy with a very cute cut and color by Lidiya- you can tell she cares and she doesn’t cut corners

Don’t go here! I wanted ashy/cool blond highlights and ended up with chunky orange and brassy highlights. I was very clear with Lydia that my hair gets bleached really fast and she still proceeded to leave it on until my hair was way too processed and my scalp still hasn’t stopped burning. I went for another consultation at a different salon today and they agreed that the color, consistency, and width of the highlights were unacceptable. @Vlad I want my money back.

From the moment I stepped into the salon, I knew I was in the right place. Vlad's attention to detail and passion for his craft were immediately evident. He took the time to carefully listen to my preferences and concerns, ensuring that he understood exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier with the experience and haircut.

Anna Dragoj did an FANTASTIC job with dying my hair! I am very happy with the results as it was the first time dying my hair at all. She did highlights with a balayage! I highly recommend her! You won’t be disappointed.

I had a 10: 30 appointment, received a call at 10am the day of informing me that my appointment was cancelled because the stylist was not in. I didn’t receive an apology or explanation of any kind; they offered to rebook me the next day, which I accepted, and then only later noticed in the confirmation email it was with a different stylist (they failed to inform me of this.) Considering customers can be charged the full amount if they don’t cancel within 24 hours of their appointment, it seems pretty egregious they can cancel on me half an hour before my appointment with no explanation.

Had a great experience at VMS! They were able to squeeze me in Friday morning last minute. Anna knew exactly what I was looking for and was very kind and knowledgeable. I did a partial balayage and layered cut and in love with the look and color. My hair feels so silky and soft.
Will definitely be back next time I’m in NYC!

After years of cutting and coloring my own hair, I booked an appointment with Anna and she did an amazing job with both my cut and color. I opted for a balayage and it came out beautiful. She knows exactly what she's doing and the results speak for themselves.

Paige was so amazing and nailed the cut I wanted to try. I brought photos in showing a range of what I was looking for and it turned out EXACTLY like the photos I brought in. She's very talented and charming to chat with!

Anna Dragoj is a magician! She recommended that I get a balayage treatment (my first!) and it is exactly what I didn’t even know what I needed. My hair is transformed and yet feels like my own personality, not something a hair salon forced on me. Highly recommend both Anna and the salon.

I also appreciate that they don’t try to “upsell” — the services you’ll get are the ones that are needed for the look, no extra $$ in there just because you’re a novice and came clear to them about that.

Came in the other day for a hair cut I’ve been wanting for months and decided to take a chance on their emerging artist Paige Best decision I’ve ever made. She was gentle with my hair, attentive to my vision, not to mention a great conversationalist. When she spun me around for the reveal, I kept putting the mirror down because the joy was too much to take. She slayed 10/10 would recommend and will be returning for my next cut

First time at Salon VMS today and Paige was amazing! Paige was super friendly and knowledgeable and gave me the exact style I was looking for.

I had such a hard time finding a hair dresser when I moved to nyc, I even cut my own hair for years before finding Vlad at the VMS salon. He is the best! I always walk out feeling and looking so much better than when I walked in. I highly recommend this salon!
