Salsa Con Fuego, Bronx NY

I came for the night club on a Saturday. It eventually got so packed you couldn't move. I think it's concerning that a ticketed event could be allowed to get so packed. You couldn't move or dance. The lines for the bathroom were so long. Money seems to be their priority. However, I'm sure they are breaking fire codes with th amount of people being jam packed into this club. Should an emergency happen, people will get killed being trampled.

Was my fav go to spot where I’ve spent 1000 of dollars at but now I don’t even recommend it anymore the lil “lounge “ has fell off badly, very UNPROFESSIONAL & rude they think they can talk to you however they want especially the owner with his disgusting attitude, get a therapist & some mannerism class!

I am writing this review for the club portion as I have never ate there for dinner. I have been going to this spot since 2018 and it doesn’t disappoint. The music, the vibe and staff are all on point. One of my favorite places to party at. Julissa the bottle girl is very attentive and provides excellent service. Always looks after me and my crew when I’m there. Highly recommend her. If you are celebrating a birthday. There is a dress code on weekends but it’s not too strict. Just don’t go in a hoodie or sports attire but sneakers are allowed. On Friday and Saturdays it’s Latin night and sometimes they will have an artist or major dj. Mostly Spanish music but they do play a variety. Security is on point so you do feel safe while inside. Other than that this place 5/5 stars. The only thing I have yet to try is the dinner portion which I will soon.

This was my first time here. I've seen it many times before but never what goes on inside. My godmother took me here for my pre-birthday celebration today as I'm writing this. The food was not only plentiful but cooked perfectly too. I had the roast pork with Mac n cheese and collard greens and let me tell you something about that pulled pork. First off it was a large portion, almost a whole shoulder for one person. Now when the pork can break apart with little effort with just a fork you know you did it proper justice. It had a nice crust on the outside and it was perfectly moist and tender on the inside. Even after it cooled a bit it was still easy to break apart. Very few places can make a good Mac n cheese and this place is one of the few. Perfectly seasoned, creamy (if that's your preference) and fresh pulled mozzarella melted on top. The collards still had a bit of bitterness to them but they were seasoned well. A touch more and they would've been perfect but still top notch. They aren't stingy on the alcohol in their drinks but a good balance of alcohol and juice. The comedians for this particular day 08/30/22 were pretty good. The first one I think his name was Rob Stapleton, he was funny. 2 thumbs up. The second guy Mr. 1 train rider was okay to me. 3 out of 5 stars. 3rd guy was funny as heck. 5 stars for him. The 4th guy, T. K. Kirkland wasn't funny but that's my opinion. His jokes seemed more like he was making fun of the fact he might have been salty from a few previous relationships but again that's what thought of his performance. A couple of "jokes" in and I walked out but overall great experience. Great comedians, excellent DJ, fantastic waitress and overall great atmosphere. I will be coming back as much as I can. This place will a great a date night location.

This place is a fraud, they sell the tables to many people, they let the tables be occupied for two hours and they almost push you out, I do not recommend this place.

Instead of a discotheque, it looks like a night club, because the bartenders and waitresses are wearing little clothing. I have visited other places and the floor staff have different types of clothing.

Update: I've visited Salsa Con Fuego a few more times and had a great time. Service was great and so was the entertainment. Their menu was also updated. I hate the collard greens were removed from the menu. I tried the appetizer platter which was really good. The Mango Pina Punch was also really good.

This was my first time to Salsa Con Fuego. There was no temperature check and masks were optional. I purchased tickets to the Wednesday comedy night. Rob Stapleton was the host, JP Justice was awesome, and Michael Blackson was the headliner. I laughed so hard my cheeks and ribs were both hurting. The DJ was also amazing. Upon arriving to Salsa make sure you have your picture ID because they check it. The décor was beautiful. While walking to my table I noticed they have 2 ATM machines. Seating is first come first served. Because we arrived early, we were able to get a great table with perfect view of the stage. If you get cold easily you may want to bring something as the air was on blast. I kept my jacket on over me. The drinks were pretty good. Although I’m not a drinker I had a Shirley Temple. The drinks with alcohol are very strong. We ordered the empanadas (chicken and beef). The beef one tasted much better and was packed with flavor. The chicken lacked seasoning and was very dry. For my entrée I ordered roasted pork with pigeon pea rice and collard greens. I was worried about my greens not tasting good because not everyone can cook collard greens but they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I was very disappointed with the roast pork, it had absolutely no type of seasoning. I had to season it up once I went home then I was able to enjoy it. Their white rice was also really bland but the steak was pretty good. Our waitress was Rosa she was great in making sure we had everything we needed. There are restroom attendants who provide you with paper towels and also sell candy. Salsa is accessible via public transportation (bus). They accept cash and card. I had a great time and can’t wait to visit again.

The atmosphere is great and the music is loud. Lots of Spanish music and hookah but if you are looking to dance this is not the place to go. I enjoyed my night but the place was overcrowded to the where you could not move around. I would go again probably to a different event or to try out their brunch.

Funny as hell on Tuesday's night's. Food is delicious. Drinks is on point. Don't drive because you will be drunk. Valet parking is great.

I like the place but it has a BIG PROBLEM THOSE WHO ARE IN CHARGE OF THE TABLES ALREADY PAID NOP BE CAREFUL THAT THOSE WHO DO NOT PAY TABLES GO AHEAD WITHOUT PAYING AND THEN YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE PAYING YOUR MONEY FOR THOSE WHO ONLY BUY A DRINK AND THEN QUEUE IN FRONT MO THEY BUY A BOTTLE THEY NEED TO BE MORE ATTENTIVE THOSE WHO PAY PAY TO BE COMFORTABLE AND THOSE WHO DO NOT PAY Q QUEUE FOR FREE AND NO ONE DOES ANYTHING THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY GAVE THE TRY AND NOTHING BUT THEY WANT TO

You pay to be seated at the bar and they took me out to stand and pay a ticket. It's not a pleasure when you pay so much.

Overall I can say that Salsa Con Fuego is a vibe. I’ve been here twice thus far and this time was for a comedy show. I loved where I was seated which was next to the bar at a high table. The service was a little slow but my waitress was nice. The food and drinks were delicious as per usual. The valet parking was a little chaotic but it’s better than driving around in circles looking for parking. Good spot for date night, girls night out, birthday dinner or weekend turnup session.

I gave everything a 5 except the service. We sat at the table, we waited for a waiter 20 minutes until someone came to get at least our drink order, finally someone did, we did say we waited a while. But other than that the food, drink, music atmosphere was great. I was there celebrating my birthday. I had an amazing time.

We celebrated my father's 90th Birthday! Excellent service. So much food! Enormous portions! The pernil size was gigantic! Everything was delicious! Would highly recommend!

I came here in September for my mothers bday celebration and she loved it! At first I didn’t like the fact that we were waiting to be seated and we had reservations. The person who sat us wasn’t even a hostess, it was an older man who was very serious. Preferably I know as a customer that I would want to be seated by a younger and lively person. I was also annoyed that it took 15min for a waiter to come but luckily the food was great and a busboy kept coming with refills of water! The skirt steak and salmon was delicious. The chicharron de pollo was so savory and tender! I loved it, I’m a queens/Brooklyn girl and it reminded me of the chicharron de pollo I would have back in Queens & Brooklyn! The drinks were on point! Definitely wasn’t overbearing with the pour and I was feeling nice and able to dance the night away! The Dj’s were good but kinda annoying when 3 dj’s repeating some of the same songs but I still had fun and got to enjoy and be part of the longest follower the leader line ever! The bathrooms were clean and my mom enjoyed herself a lot so I knew I picked a good place to celebrate her birthday!

Came here for the 1st time for brunch and it exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious they had breakfast food as well as ribs.what! Ribs at 12pm is what we doing. My family had a great time
